if his 'A' game is the same game that he came in the PDL and PM fights then he's screwed up. Maidana possesses serious power in his hands, so Broner should add in his game and a good footwork cuz the Philly shell, the dodging and the rolling won't help him too much if he stays in front of Maidana and not use his footwork. :yep

not really fair as Broner has beaten some decent fighters. But I get the point, considering where Broner seems to be rated by the boxing media his resume is a bit thin.

He jumped at 147, won a title by SD against a featherfisted washed up fighter with a high profile and duck all the top guys from 140.

He's a cherrypicker and his handlers try to build his legacy but Broner is nothing so special like Floyd.

Yeah, I hear you but the PDL fight is not relevant in judging his present skill level and as for PM, he was truly up for his fight with Broner and there is no denying that PM has boxing skills and wisdom. He had to use all of that to frustrate Broner and he did a decent job but Broner prevailed and hopefully learned something. When I say his A game here's what I mean, I have watched Broner and I know that he posses the skills to beat Maidana. He can move when he wants to, he has a good chin, excellent power, good jab, fluid combinations and the heart of a fighter. When he is in total command of these tools with his mental game,IE knowing when and where to use them, then his A game is in full effect and that's what it's gonna take cause Maidana ain't no joke.:bbb

its simple. they picked the less risky fighter with a major strap and a high profile in Paulie (a B level fighter with feather fists).

@ 140 all the title holders were all risky fights for Broner.

 the problem is he doesn't want to move very much and his chin wasn't tested yet. If the fight with Maidana will get done then we will see from what is made his chin.

And no fighter but Broner has picked a lesser fighter for a strap?Again first fight at 147 and it was a good fighter in his backyard see who he fights next before putting the duck jacket on him.

not as thin as Golovkin and Kovalev..

At 24 Broner makes both look like rank cowards.
