Has anyone else noticed Fury's odds are shortening with the majority of bookies??

Fury started out as a 4/1 or 3/1 shot to beat Haye.

Most now have him the equivalent of 2.5/1 to win.

Why have the odds shortened everywhere??

Even 2/1 is worth a bet.
I'd figure him to be more like 11/8.

Haye deserves to be favourite but he's far from unbeatable. Fury is the comer, he has a real chance here. Some early punters know that.

I'd expect a lot of late money on Haye though.

Probably smart punters who figured 4/1 is good value.
People who remember Haye barely scraped past Valuev, and was on the deck against Monte Barrett.

    Maybe, but it varies.
Sometimes people are just unrealistic, like having Ricky Hatton a firm favourite to win his last fight. I daresay none (or few) of us actually stuck our heads out and said "why are we all agreeing that Hatton should win ?" ... personally, I just went along with it, 'cos I knew almost f*** all about his opponent, and it's easy to go along with the crowd when in doubt. But I damn well knew Hatton was an utter liability !

This case is easy for me to judge. Simply, Fury is an improving fighter and MIGHT be a lot better than we think. Haye is more proven, more experienced in big fights, always gets in shape, and hits very hard ... but he's always getting over-rated. He's beatable.
Haye should be favourite, he's more likely to succeed. He could win decisively.
But Fury shouldn't be a massive underdog at all. It wouldn't be a major shock if he wins.

Having said all that, if I remain at all interested, I'll probably end up fip-flopping these views several times before fight time .

    Good.

Hopefully I can get better odds for Haye KO inside 4 rounds now.

I'll give anyone on here 4/1 happily.

The more you mugs put down the better the price on Haye. Just need to time it correctly as the smart money will come on Haye very late on.

So you would happily give 4/1 but you are trying to time in correctly so you get the best price? Makes no sense my man....

Fury's odds go down as people bet on him >>>>>

<<<<< Haye's odds as he drifts and becomes less of a favourite

    I then bet on Haye.

    Fairly obvious?
