based on what? Ward has no power, he barely managed to ko some mummy who Stevenson only needed 20 seconds to ko without dehydrate him. not to mention the long rests...Ward will win but he's not trashing anyone....except if he's bringing Jack Reiss as a referee and he starts to headbutt...Kessler knows what i'm talking about

The second Chavez gives up his size advantage, you will see the delicious sight of him getting exposed and most likely stopped.

Ward will pick him apart. He's in another league compared to Chavez, his technical ability and the awkward angles he'll be giving JR. will be way too much. There's nothing that Julio does in the ring that's on par with Andre aside from being able to take a lot of punches to the face.

I'm very curious to see how many punches can Jr block with his face and how many rounds he'll last against Ward. :yep

3G vs Jr is a more appealing fight.

I doubt Ward calls any shots here, Chavez is the bigger attraction. This is the fight Ward's been looking for, a money fight. Ward would be stupid to make demands on location. If Ward wins by KO, my guess is his stock goes up with the fans.

Were you the same guys posting all over here saying saying Chavez would not fight Martinez? Chavez may be stupid, but he has balls and will fight the best out there. Unlike many of your heroes.

    Most likely.

Chavez will be a better fighter after the Martinez fight. While Martinez was ruined by it. Open your eyes, fool.

Terrible move for Chavez unless he's thinking if cashing out by luring several hundred thousand delusional desperadoes that think he can actually win. Maybe fight cloud at 175 that would be an awesome barn burner....I seriously feel Julio would struggle to make 168.

Dude, he got his ass handed to him by Martinez. And this was the undisputed middle champ fighting a guy 190+ (could possibly be 200+) on fight night. It was a freak show, and honestly with that advantage Chavez had no excuse losing.

You're out of your damn mind if you think that Julio was over 190, let alone 200 for that fight

Once again, your'e blind hate for a fighter clouds your judgement.

You know Magic.....you called it on Bute Froch, but Ward still turned down 2 mil++++++ to fight Bute.........and Bute is a lethal body puncher, much as Chavez is also a lethal body puncher.

I know your'e a Ward loyalist, but do you honestly believe he can beat all styles. I mean Froch and Kessler are almost carbon copies of one another for a fighter like Ward. Whereas Chavez Jr doesnt mince words getting inside. He cuts the ring and bulldozens.
Also, at 168 he won't have to dehydrate himself near to death with diuretics and laxatives to make weight. He'll be healthy and hearty and probably come into the ring near 190lb and stronger than an oxe.:think
