I agree with this the most, but all answers are good.

Gomez, Zarate and Zamora deserve a shout.

Going back a bit Fitz, Langford and Wilde are up there.

Jackson is the one that stands out to me as the most explosive hitter I have ever seen.

I'd say Jackson, when he hit people they were just gone, it's like someone flicked a switch and they were immediately unconscious. The KO of Graham and Norris stand out for me.

In the current era I'd say Golovkin or Haye are the biggest P4P punchers.

Shavers, Foreman, Julian Jackson, Sugar Ray Robinson, Duran at 135 all come to mind.

Look up some of the Mexican feathers in the 80's. 90% knockout ratios and not against cab drivers.

I thought of him when i saw this thread and although he hit hard i honestly believe the majority of his KOs were the result of the crazy angles that he threw the punches from - not the strength

A long time ago, but pound for pound I don't think any fighter hit harder than Bob Fitzsimmons.

  14. Lets keep it in a era were you can actually watch the fights, the footage quality on Fitzsimmons fights actually looks like it was filmed with a potato, with no joke attached to it. The quality really is that poor.

So that leaves the over dramatization from writers from that era to paint the picture, I tend to not even count that era, black people weren't allowed to fight in most cases and if they were they were set up to get beat up badly or ducked and totally ignored. That era was poop !!
