Its either Julian or Gerald. I remember how Julian threw his hands up as each one fell sometimes as if to say he's out. Of course Gerald koed Julian twice, once after getting blasted in the nads and next time with a body shot. Perhaps we could call Julian the best headhunter of them all.

Julian Jackson is ahead by mile, finally its becoming clear...All credit goes to Youtube, it helped eliminate alot of the non sense that existed in the age of darkness, now everybody can see & decide for their own :yep

Julian is a Natural Light Middleweight
    Gerald is a Natural Middleweight

The few pounds & inches matter when a puncher faces a puncher...I am taking age out of the equation as punching power peaks a bit later in punchers who are /not short/ & both were still in their punching prime.

A lot of people will tell you that as big as McClelland was, he wasn't even really a middleweight, more like super middle/light heavy, and squeezing down to the middleweight limit on the scales.

From the list, I'd say for the impact of a single punch you have to go with Julian Jackson, although Hearns had the most success against bigger fighters, as he did after all KO cruiserweights, whatever you might say about the quality of some of those cruisers in question.

Some has suggested McClennans brain trauma started in the first Jackson fight. He ate some big bombs that night, and complained of heavy headaches after the fight. He won some easy fights after this, and the first time he met another bomber ( Benn). The disaster hit.....

No matter what, Jackson could seriously bang..

Julian Jackson had scary one punch power, but his chin was a problem and stamina, but if he landed a punch his opponent would be in real trouble!!! Pauli mentioned Julian on the Matthysse Vs. Dallas or Peterson fight and he was correct..........

Most punchers squeeze down to the lowest weight possible, thats part of the deal. I just feel Julian was the better puncher as he was able to move up & KO more people in the second division above (middleweight)

Gerald was not able to continue outside of Middleweight, because hsi first fight in 168 was Nigel benn

Hearns is always up on the list, he was a better overall boxer...Which didn't make him as one dimensional as Julian. Julian was there to win by KO or Get KOed while trying to catch you with a KO punch :yep

So a man from that era was incapable of punching hard? We're not talking boxing skills here the quation is "Who is the hardest pound for pound hitter" and anyone with just a modicum of knowledge knows that Bob Fitszimmons would have to be in the mix.
