Lopez is one hell of a warrior, which was impressive, considering the beating he absorbed, which would kill most normal men, but I was most impressed with Alvarez defense.

Lopez rarely landed a clean shot, despite being as game as a pitbull.

I was also impressed with Alvarez explosiveness and his gameness as well. If he missed, he would fire right back and jump on his man.

He will need this against Mayweather. He's been improving every fight. If he can get everything to culminate against Mayweather, we might see Mayweather take the worst beating of his career, even if he wins.

  2. Canelo keeps improving. Its hard to gauge what he will look like on 9-14.

He hired a nutrionist for this camp and a s&c coach. I really think Floyd is going to get hurt in this fight. Hopefully his hands hold up

    Are you really serious?

The Lopez fight proved Canelito is a dress-wearin' bi.tch.
Lopez was one fight removed from 140.

That fight was a disgrace..... as was the attempt to get Victor Ortiz and Paul Williams...those guys had nothing to offer.

Canelito had nothing to worry about against Lopez.....how he could he not look "explosive" against a career jr Welterweight.:deal

"Keeps improving" isn't going to get it done against Mayweather.

GBP didn't even want to risk putting Alverez in with K-9...They took the Trout fight off the Mayweather undercard because they didn't want to fight him in Vegas.

I bet if Trout were an Alphonso Gomez or Jose Lopez level fighter the fight would have stayed on the Vegas undercard.

So you're saying canelo isn't improving at a drastic rate? The kid is 23 YEARS OLD.

Canelo would beat k-9 lets be real. **** Mayweather hasn't fought an actual threat since 2007.

They took the Trout fight off the undercard because Canelo didn't want to fight on the undercard unless he was guarenteed a fight with Floyd in September. Well guess what is happening?

Floyd should've just agreed and avoided Showtime forcing the fight on him. And the PPV numbers would've been better. 152 baby!

    Little Cinnabuns is a bully.

He broke Archie Solis' jaw in 4 places and wrecked his career....a Flyweight.....suckerpunched...by a bloated Jr MW.

Apparently the tiny man was banging Canelito's girl.

You KNOW something is wrong when a guy the size of a 12 year old can fu.ck your girl.

Then he fights 140lb Josecito Lopez....... after attempts to get WW creampuff Victory Ortiz and what was left of Paul Williams fell through.

Imagine the stir that would be created if Broner...... cold-co.cked Rau'shee Warr.en over some wayward snatch..

The boxing world would never stop laughing at him.

Why didn't he just kick K-9's as.s instead of fight shot to hell Kermit Cintron?

I mean........ if it was all that easy??

GBP know that Bundrage is unpredictable and DANGEROUS.

They didn't even want to fight Trout in Vegas so they jumped off the Mayweather undercard.:deal

GBP is cashing out on Canelito because he isn't that good and he's only 5'7.

    K-9?

Come on man. K-9 is too wild to deal with Canelo. He's the type of fighter Canelo would look good against.

Lopez was a better challenge than K-9.

Why do you hate Canelo so much? He's a good fighter. By hating him, you're not doing any favors for Mayweather.
