Boxing history should be separated into eras, its not fair to compare both eras...It goes both ways...Recorded Footage of a complete fight, should be a very good fine line between the recorded era & the Semi-legendary era

Then classification, should take into consideration; Bare Knuckle, Unlimited Rounds, 15 Rounds, 12 Rounds, WBA+WBC, Undisputed III, Undisputed IV, Weight classes additions

Yep, true. Completely forgot about that.

    ---------------------
Loma didn't knock out some guys in the WSB although he was outclassing some of them by a landslide. Maybe he wasn't trying. We'll see how well he sits on his punches come debut time.

Knockouts are rarer in the WSB than in the amateur game. That's a statistical fact from AIBA. It's because the competition is consistently high, and the gloves are 10oz. Lomachenko's opponents would get hurt and then try to survive, which is a lot easier to do when there's only 5 rounds. Lomachenko was also getting the rounds in and working on different things, against competition that was physically bigger than him.
I thought he showed terrific power for the WSB, I have zero questions regarding his power. He's shown more power in the amateur game than guys like Rigo and GGG did.

If he's near as good as he was as an amateur, then he'll be at least a 3 weight champion. He still has a lot to prove.

    I think he is.

He actually said Mike Tyson had skinny chicken legs...:nut

  8. this is Vasyl Lomachenko we are talking about

if there were odds on Lomachenko becoming a world champ it would be 1/ a million

put a million pounds on to win 1 pound

seriously there has never been a fighter in history going into the pro ranks that was more certain to win a world title than Lomachenko

It means nothing...Any average boxer can pick up titles in 3-4 or even 5 divisions

Very FEW can become UNDISPUTED at one division :deal

Great ideas, but you really need to add no-decision, colour-bar, IBC, three ropes/four ropes and the pre and post-enswell eras.

    I forgot about the ropes!

The 3 ropes/4 ropes could have actually influenced the performances of Muhammad Ali & Kermit Cintron

I'm a bit disappointed that Lomachenko is waiting until his 2nd pro fight before trying to win a world title.

I had money on him becoming the first fighter to win a world title without actually having a professional bout. He's obviously better than every other fighter in his weight class. He doesn't really need to prove it in the ring and risk hurting someone.

It's just another sign of boxing's evolution.

Tyson-Douglas is a prime example of what happens when a fighter from the pre-enswell era comes up against a modern post-enswell fighter :deal
