Also speculation is that Ricky Burns hasn't trained properly for fight and isn't focused for Beltran due to personal problems and not being motivated.

Also that he's struggling to make the weight for Weigh-in on friday which is why they've cancelled the open workout this week.

If i was a betting man my money would be on Beltran for this fight even though i don't rate him as a Top 5 Lightweight...maybe just sneaks into the Top 10 though.

Ricky is fine, ignore the BS rumors, tough fight on Saturday for sure but its one he should win.

 

I did hear that Ricky has had personal problems during his training for this fight and is struggling to make weight for friday. I don't expect Billy to confirm this but maybe he will let us know for sure next week.

Just want to add that i like Ricky Burns alot, think he's done brilliantly from being written off after his Carl Johanneson loss. I hope it's merely speculation and not true that he's weight drained as it could tip the balance in Beltrans favour if Ricky isn't 100% for this fight.

Also i think Billy Nelson is one of Britain's best Boxing trainers and deserves far more respect then he gets, if he was based in London there's no doubt he'd have a stable of the top fighters under his tutelage.

 

1. What I'd say to you is ask any of his sparring partners if he's training has went well, I guareentee not one would say it didn't
2. Today Ricky is 3lbs over the weight no problem whatsoever.
3. If you want an even money bet please come to my gym and I will cuddle you taking your money off you
