was looking forwad to public workout today, unfortunately it wasn't on. anyone know where n when weigh in is as I like to see condition of fighters at the weight.

Any reason why the public workout was cancelled? seems strange as this is usually mandatory the week of a fight to drum up last week ticket sales or publicity.

Billy is a man of his word and if he says he'll be back on here after the fight whether Ricky wins, loses or draws then i believe him.

Billy has done a remarkable job with Ricky, i'm not doubting the hard work and dedication Ricky has put in to make himself a double World Champion but for me it's as much down to Billy who took a fighter everyone wrote off as not being good enough for British level let alone World level after his defeat to Johannsen and turned his career around to the top level World boxer he is today.

I've always said that Ricky should have a framed picture of Billy on his bedside cabinet and kiss it every night before he goes to sleep as without Billy (and Frank W) Ricky would now be working full-time in a sportshop on barely minimum wage.

 

Billy should rightly take credit but How the fuk do you know hed b workin in a sports shop, his talent would have come through regardless for me. Cant imagine rickys been the hardest to take to the top either tbh

 

I disagree, did you watch his fights against Alex Arthur and Carl Johanneson? he got soundly beaten in both fights and although he displayed some talent no one would have predicted he'd be double world champion 5 years later.

Billy took the raw talent of Burns and sculpted it into a Masterpiece which is no easy feat to do and requires years of patience, hardwork, dedication, focus and most of all dedicating your life to that boxer even if it means giving up alot of your own life for it.
