How did he duck him when Pac wouldn't take test to fight him? The same tests he's now taking for Rios he wouldn't take to fight PBF. I swear people put the whole thing all on PBF as if Pac had nothing at all to do with it.

I actually believe he is over looking Canelo, doesnt mean he isnt going to come ready to fight it just means chances are we get to see Floyd in a real fire fight...

Nah one thing you can't accuse PBF of and that's overlooking and underestimating opponents. He always comes in 100% focused and ready to fight. He's obsessive compulsive about it and it's one of the reasons why he's so good.

Some of these posts scare me. Does hyperbole fly over people's heads? Or are the masses that post this just uneducated?

Didn't feel the need to fight wanted time off not that the Pac fight would have happened anyway top rank GBP thing. Funny that PBF didn't fight Cotto either when he was with top Rank the minute he leaves the fight gets made. If Pac would have left Arum when he had a chance this fight would have probably already been done and over with.

I actually think I've heard more or less the same comment off of most of Mayweathers previous opponents... then they get in the ring and just get picked off.

Ok so what the excuse for him not taking on Sergio when Floyd insinuated a possible matchup between the two? Was top rank promoting Sergio also?

Floyd is all smoke and mirrors.

 Oh lord I forgot how pathetic Floyd haters are. I haven't been in the general forum in a while. It's sad that all people have to hold against Floyd, still to this day, is that "He ducked Pac" :hey

He did not duck Pac. Arum didn't want the fight to happen, so it didn't happen. Don't believe me? Here are some facts:

When negotiations 1st started for a potential Floyd/Pac fight:
Pac had originally said he would take less than 50% (He later redacted on this, with no basis. Just changed his mind)
Pac insisted that Floyd pay $1 million for every lb he comes in over the limit. (Floyd agreed. Although it was a ridiculous demand)
Floyd insisted on Olympic Style Drug Testing. (Pac refused. Excuses listed below. Pac is currently insisting on his opponent undergoe Olympic style drug testing :yep)

Before Floyd went to prison and fought Cotto, he offered Pac the fight. Arum said no.....dum dum dum, because the fight was too big for any existing arena in Vegas, and they would have to build a new outdoor venue for it...that was his excuse! And he said it would be ready, after Floyd was in prison :patsch

Pacs excuses for not agreeing to Floyds drug testing demands:
    1. Floyd doesn't make the rules - although Pac has a history of enforcing demands on opponents as well
    2. He's afraid of needles - although he has tattoos
    3. Giving blood before fight makes you weak - although you have to give blood for medical tests anyway

Do I have to mention that all these excuses came from a guy, who is currently enforcing Olympic Style Drug Testing on his upcoming opponent?!?

At the time Pac resisted the drug testing demand, Floyd had agreed to every other single part of the contract. This was the last issue. Now if Floyd was really "ducking" Pac, that is a HUGE gamble to bet on Pac refusing a demand that every other one of his future opponents would then go on to accept. One can also say, by insisting on drug testing, Floyd was attempting to duck every single fighter he has faced in the past 3 years (Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto, Guerrero) because they all could've easily refused also.

Sergio is a MW PBF has no business in the ring with him in the first place. It would be like saying Sergio go up to 168 and fight Ward. I don't hear you calling for that fight.

You can be 100% focused and ready to fight and still over look ones ability happens all the time in fact I believe it happened in the short four rounds with Ortiz.
