What if Leonard Duran 3 was a 15 rounder?

    Would Duran score a late cut stoppage, or would Leonard get the benefit of the doubt and retain the title? Leonard was outboxing him, but Duran opened cut over both of Ray's eyes.

    By that time Roberto was a 38 year old 90+ fight veteran. He just didn't have the intensity of his earlier career at that stage, to catch Leonard enough.

    They would both go through training camps that would prepare them for 15 which means the result won't be that different.

    duran by ko. there was a reason why leonard waited so long to make the rubber match. the 50 stitches showed what would have come if it went a round or two more.

    Their first fight was the best while their second fight we still didn't know exactly why Duran quit (maybe he frustrated). Their third fight , however, was a garbage fight.
