is the no chance danny garcia will win

I'm rooting for Matthysse and fairly certain he'll win, but to say Garcia has no chance is foolish.

 

I really like Garcia, good fighter, great chin.........but, this other guy is money and I don't think Danny can survive his pace. Look for a late round TKO..........

I think he has chance its slim to me but he does have a chance anybody who can bang has a shot, question is can Danny really bang? I mean Khan has a Glass jaw and Morales was shot to **** and well above his best weight.

But what I will say is that Danny does hold a win over Judah of which Lucas lost to Judah but that may be more due to styles than anything else....

However if Danny looks to trade hooks with Lucas he has no chance to win if he tries to box he increases his chances in the later rounds if he fights smart.....

Something tells me he will wind up going back to trading and will end up on his ass....

 

Garcia cannot win

Unless Matthysse makes a big mistake and lets Garcia throw his ****** strength left hook and land it perfectly to hurt Matthysse


I think Garcia will choke in the first couple of rounds though and the damage will already be done by Matthysse in this time.


This is boxing anything can happen, Garcia is tough, young has strength and power but he isn't stepping into the ring with Judah, Old man Morales or overly ambitious Khan... also for a counterpuncher he isn't as smart, think as fast or throw as beautifully as a guy like Marquez which is what Garcia needs...


Bradley Hopkins and many others are going to get a reality check when Lucas fcks this kid up.

 

Garcia will win. Many people are completely overlooking Garcia and it's understandable with all the hype surrounding Matthysse, it's typical with the thinking of the usual simple minded fan. If a fighter is coming off an impressive KO and another didn't look good enough then surely the one coming off an impressive KO is a wrecking machine and can't ever lose. Many people will be surprised how good Garcia really is even if he ends up losing.

 

I see your ******ed ass is still as hurt, if not more, than Khan. Get over it already.

Believe me. I'm not underestimating Garcia and give props to all his talents... but Matthysse is going to make it look like he shouldn't have been let in the ring with him. Nobody in 140 can touch Lucas.

 

I'm stepping out on the limb and picking Danny to beat Lucas...I think many people are overlooking Danny in this one.

If Danny can box Lucas without being pulled into long exchanges, I think he could beat Lucas..Danny has great timing and has a wicked left hook..If he can keep Lucas turning and dont let Lucas set his feet then I can see Danny getting the win...Danny damn near has to fight the best fight of his life because Lucas has power.

Thats a big if though.

I dont think he can do that, and i think its gonna be the reason he loses. Hes not quick footed and slick enough (like zab and devon) to keep him off/stay away

 

I actually think Garcia is going to come out super fast & sharp looking for the KO in the first 4 rounds. I think Matthysse might even go down, will depend on how Matthysse reacts, he's been saying some good things lately on how if he goes down he'll get back up & win.

 

He doesnt have to have the quick feet like Devon or Zab...IMO, think its his timing that will get him out some cituations.

Dont get me wrong, this is gonna be a hard fight for Danny. He could very well get KO'ed if he tries to trade with Lucas. :good

 

Lucas wins if he gets to fight hit fight.

garcia can only win if Lucas gets overconfident and swings himself straight into a Garcia counter.

Myth 1: Lucas is the heavier one punch KO artist. - Lucas hurts his opponents during the the long course of a fight. Dallas was ill- prepared and had shaky whiskers and Peterson fought the wrong type of fight. peterson also had a shaky chin. Lucas doesn't usually put guys to sleep like a Julian Jackson. ajose went 10 ****ing rounds despite beaing hit from pillar to post.

IMO, Garcias counter shots that you don't expect are more devastating. Judah, old morales and chinny khan can atest to that.

IF Matthysse puts in a few wild shots and he's in range, Garcia will fire back and I think it will hurt Matthysse bad. If Matthysse plays it safe, he will eventually catch up with Garcia because he's not fleet footed. so in that scenario Matthysse should win as long as he knows the wide counter shots will be coming back. If Garcia starts timing Matthysse as he attacks, it will spell trouble too because that leads us to Myth 2.

Myth 2: Matthysse is the bigger (stronger) fighter - rather Garcia is the bigger man at 140lbs. I remember brother nazim mentioning how big Garcia really is and how amazing he can make light welter. He spars middle weights and light heavy weights. garcia being stronger is confirmed by a guy who has sparred both lucas and danny too. the only down side for Danny with regards to his size is making weight. which might effect him late in the fight. The honey badger Lucas will fight with good power throughout, but Danny has shown against a well known front runner like Judah, how he can tire late on in a fight and fade.

Myth 3: Matthysse is the better body puncher. Here I would say both are great at going to the body. danny again is underated here.

 

Danny is no BUM. This fight can go either way it depends oh how and who directs the flow of the fight.:smoke
