I had him beating Oscar by about 4 rounds. The scorecards were a joke by Floyd only winning by SD, but that's usually what happens when guys fight Oscar.

Just look at the Sturm bout when Felix got robbed. Not too many guys get the nod over Oscar when it goes to the scorecards, regardless of who actually won the fight.

 

In a victory of one point the decision is considered close but one guy won the other lost. IMO the Victor become the A$$ kicker and the Loser becomes the A$$ kickee. in those terms if you win you kicked a$$ and if you lose you got your a$$ kicked.

 

I had Oscar winning 7-5. Oscar knocked Void's head back over and over again, yet Void's judges gave Void a split decision win. I am not the only one who had Oscar winning.

I saw the fight originally and on replay several times since.

Floyd fought Oscar on Oscar terms and beat him. Oscar has no excuse for losing the fight other then, Floyd being a better fighter then he is. People can say Oscar was over the hill, but Floyd wanted to fight Oscar before he was over the Hill just like he wanted to fight Mosley, but both these guys would not give him a shot. So the only blame for loosing the fight is Oscar.

 

Oscar was maybe slightly past his prime, but he was still and dangerous fighter until he drained to 147.

 

The much more likely scenario is YOU are confusing the weights.

Yes, one of the judges. Castillo also beat Void..............but Void's judges gave him the fight. A rematch was ordered. Mosley had Void out on his feet, then he quit throwing punches. Who told him to do that?

Nacho Beristain said that Alvarez/Void was a 50/50 fight, thus in a recent interview..........

 

Floyd kicked Oscar's arse and showed that his skills are superior. Oscar tried to bring the heat but was ineffective. Perhaps the real reason Mosley could not do much after round 2 was to do with what Floyd was doing.

As for Nacho Beristan of course as a Mexican he hopes Canelo wins but realizes Floyd is better. The people hoping Canelo wins are hoping his size and youth make the difference absolutely none of them believe Canelo is the better more gifted boxer. To win this fight Canelo is going to have to go out of his comfort zone at some stage apply pressure which will lead to him being knocked out.
