He had never been knocked down by a head punch and had never been stopped. Mercer was younger than age 42 Vitali is now.

But I don't include Mercer as one of Wlad's better wins, because he was old. Prime Jameel McCline, who was coming off a 19 fight winning streak and highly ranked by the Ring at the time, was a much better win.
