how does one "stick with football" :rofl

    a) tore his knee up, and couldn't play the rest of his college career.
    b) wasn't drafted by the NFL.

Last year i would have gone for Arreola by KO/TKO without hesitation but the reason i'm giving Seth Mitchell a very good chance of scoring a KO victory is that Arreola took an absolute beating for 12 rds in his last fight against Stiverne which was one of those beatdowns that a fighter never recovers from.

Also despite Mitchell getting knocked down by Banks, Arreola has none of the speed or counter shots that Mitchell got caught with and Arreola is a plodder which will suit Mitchell.

I wouldn't be surprised if Arreola is stopped in this fight via corner retirement by around the 6th rd after taking a sustained beating from Mitchell.

Oh man! I have been enjoying these beatings that Arreola has been taking lately (Klitschko, Adamek and Stiverne). I hope he gets one tonight aswell and then retires. He is the biggest fraud out there. A **** fighter who doesnt bother to train.......

I wish Seth a happy retirement from Boxing after this bout
He just doesn't have the overall tools to excel in this sport
He's a good guy, but the hype wasn't deserved and I really don't
think he wanted all the attention
I hope he makes some dough tonite

Mitchell by stoppage. Arreola will suffer the consequences for his virtually non existent defence.

    Agreed.

With a bit more discipline he could easily come in at 230lbs which would help with his speed and stamina but he's obviously not fully committed to the sport or to make the best of his skills or talent. No matter what you think of Seth Mitchell, at least you know he probably kills himself in the gym every day and eats the right foods when he's not training.

Considering CA had his nose busted badly early in that fight I don't think he took such a "sustained" beating from Stiverne. You act like it was a shutout for BS :huh It's a tribute to Arreola's fortitude that he went the distance. If CA gets stopped it won't be b/c of the loss to BS. Only 1 fighter has stopped Chris - a certain 6'7-8" mf'er from the Ukraine. Now that was a beatdown.

Mitchell's best chance is to catch Arreola w/something big, preferable early. Unless that happens, Arreola by T/KO. Some ppl on here are putting a lot of hope into Mitchell :think

Mitchell by points 115-112. He will be dropped once early and after that he will fight like he did in second Banks match

Just can't conceive any way that Mitchell wins. Chris bombs him out
    mercilessly
