Why do the Klitschko's get so much disrespect?

^^And people wonder why the Klitschko's don't get much respect. Because their fans are like this. Shame because the brothers themselves seem alright.

 

I'm sorry, but what I said was very true in my eyes. The fact you begin your point talking about amateur boxing is quite damaging. That you then go on to name some of the poorest HW title challengers in history really buries your argument. All those fighters should have been KO'd easily. They were ridiculously over-matched.

Floyd and Andre Ward's level of competition is infinitely higher than the Klitschko's yet many people on this very board do criticize them for being boring. That argument is also very poor.

 

How pathetic is it that Klittards have to make the Klits' opponents out to be unstoppable beasts so their heroes won't look bad for fighting them?

Please, Klittards, tell me how Wlad and Vitali are great despite losing to a half-retired golfer and a shot, old, fat Lewis, respectively.

Overall they are respected. Of course every successful boxers will have haters. It also depends where the fans come from. I assume the most of their haters are from the US, while in the continental Europe mostly everybody likes them.
Anyway whoever is unbiased and objective appreciates what they do for the sport in and outside the ring.

 

Its because they fight like cowards and most of their fights are as exciting as watching paint dry

Who gives a **** what haters think , Klits get same amount of **** just like other succesfull athletes. Haters gonna hate, but funny thing is that most and biggest Klitchko haters on this forum are brits ,or british paqis and at the same time they're fans of calzaghe, khan , haye , tyson fury ,while not that many american Klit haters on this forum , here're some , but mostly brothers or old timers.

 

I don't think Americans disrespect them as much because they have no idea who they are and hardly see them fight.

 

What's a couple of brothers gotta do to earn a bitta respect in this World? They don't take kindly to their type around here.
