It happens everywhere let's face it, Murray got robbed in Argentina, dodgy ref as well not giving a clear knockdown for Murray, but then there's the flip side, Calzaghe got the nod against Hopkins in America in a very close fight so its swings and roundabouts. Not saying that its right, it's shocking, but that's boxing politics, always been the same and would take something big to change it. Some of the British home town cooking has been dodgy as **** tho the last few years!
thats the sad thing, i knew beltran had won but didnt think for one second that he'd get the decision.
Obvious troll. Join date May 2013: Posts 14. People like yourself are everything that is wrong with society today. That patriotic brainwashing you ensue and embrace. What a sad individual you are.
People wonder why casuals are falling away from boxing. Why would anyone but a hardcore boxing fan EVER wish to watch boxing after this farce we just witnessed. Even harder is how can us fans even begin to defend what we just saw?! Makes me lose interest in boxing, Hearn/Sky or whoever is involved in the corruption make me sick. It's not only money you're playing with it's people's lives! Eddie is just a talentless prat ruining careers/lives of REAL hardworking people such as Beltran.
Win at all costs, doesn't matter how you get there, _hit on everybody, "Hey who's carrying the Trophy", NO losses (O's), hey, I'm the Champ. Rob, Cheat & Steal, but hey look at the car I drive... your a class act pal. :nut
this ^^^ - I've said it for years! and they wonder what's wrong with Boxing. They KNOW Fine well but just expect us to be like that silly **** also posting in this thread... Boxing has been dead for years, it's just waiting to be buried!
Burns would do something great if he gave the title to Beltran for a rematch. I'm not saying I think it'd happen. But he would get the respect of boxing fans, Beltran would get his reward and it'd set up a rematch in the US. I think it'd be good for boxing as some sort of a moral victory against the corruption that often cripples the sport and turns people away from boxing. Burns seems like a proud man, he seemed a little embarassed to take the belt at the end of the fight and I think he knows himself that he lost, he knows he isn't truly a champion anymore.
I took a break after Abril vs Rios because that genuinely made me angry, I've only watched 'big' fights since and this is making me lose ALL interest tbh
for gods sake Burns went through 10 rounds with a broken jaw, yet Beltran was afraid to go in for the kill because he knew Burns would not give in, hes too brave. No way in hell did he deserve to win, you have to be brave and show you are a true champ to take the belt off an opponent. If Beltran broke his jaw he would have pulled out.
That was a total robbery a disgrace Burns doesnt desrve that belt around his waist he lost and by a comfortable margin in my eyes
Poor decision but lets be honest this goes on all the time. usually in the yanks favour. Nonetheless two wrongs don't make a right. As for the lad spouting shite about Ricky claiming he's the best ever, find me one clip of that. He says he isn't, even this week. I'm happy he still has the belt but that was not right. Revenge for Ken Buchanan haha
What do you expect with an American judge? We already know from history Americans judges couldn't judge the colour of shite.
Hahahaha that really is low,I forget to use an apostophe and you feel the need to pull me up on it. What are you a grammar teacher, this is a boxing forum not an English lesson you sad ****. Get a life
