when was floyd at his peak?

  1. For me it was Gatti. Floyd has slowed down considerably since then. He looked OK against Hatton and great against a blown up fat JMM.

Ortiz Guerrero? Please. They had 4 fights in total at 147. Both faced Berto :rofl

Floyd has slowed down. Lets be real for a quick second :deal

The way he surgically destroyed corales was breathtaking even though I love chico. Given the opponent and the way he performed that was the best Floyd I ever seen.

  4. So how does he fare against young Canelito

Mayweather got this. He'd never take a fight where he's unsure. He took this fight because he knows he can beat Canelo.

  6. Hence 152?

I'm starting to see the cracks in Mayweather. I bet all of this Chantel Jackson chating malarky hasn't helped if true either. I really feel that Canelo is going to do it now.

Yes. Although I'm shocked there won't be a weight limit on fight night. I just don't see how Canelo will pull this off. When people fight mayweather he nearly cuts their punch output by nearly half. Canelo doesn't throw many punches as it is. I believe the average punch output for him was 45-55 per a round. So is he going to throw like 25/30 punches a round against Floyd? Can't win a fight like that.

He outclassed JMM who is a _Great_ champ. Marquez even with his new training routine doesn't want apart of Mayweather.

He said "We all know what happend in 2009" I was kinda suprised how humble this man acually is.

Thats because he knows mayweather wil not let him juice. Pac and roach tried to prove to floyd they dont care whos on peds they will still fight and it backfired and pac was kod. No way marquez rematches pac this time after being exposed.

    Against Hatton was absolute prime.

He had just fought up at 154 and brought that solid lookin frame down to 147 and really never looked back.

JMM wins his fights on technique and he knows that Floyd is even more fundamentally sound than himself - which is a massive effort, JMM is technically a ****ing boss.
Floyd just has him covered in every area, JMM knows this and good on him for admitting it, he is an ATG.

Well I say since floyd never fought a tough fight apart from his loss to Castillo

    He's never had a prime
