What Round Did Beltran Break Ricky Burns Jaw?

I think it was in the 8th round from the knockdown.

 

Yep I think it was the shot that caused the knock down.

Not entirely sure what round it was, he took big shots in rounds 2,3 if a remember right, just hope he can make a good recovery and box again!

Not sure what this injury will do to him mentally moving forward.

 

I think it was about 3 or 4, I noticed around round 6 or 7 Ricky wincing at one of of Beltran's shots to the jaw which barely landed and knew there was something up. Ricky is the type who's go out on his shield and risk the knockout but he was clearly happy to avoid getting hit which is very understandable in that situation.

Folk on my Facebook saying if Burns was fully fit and didn't have a broken jaw it would have been a different story :rofl:rofl:rofl. As if Burns fell and broke his jaw on the way to the ring and it wasn't caused by a punch from his opponent in a boxing match atsch

 

Where's the option for "He didn't break his jaw"?

 

7th or 8th is the first time he complained about it plus it was abount that time you could see him wincing, defo dont think it was the 2nd as claimed

 

He broke his jaw by punching him, it wasn't accidental. If someone can't fight because they've been punched too hard by their opponent then that's boxing and that's how you win a fight.

 

I thought it was round 5 when near got floored.

 

Think it was after the knockdown in round 9 when Burns went back to the corner and said to Billy Nelson 'My Jaw's F****D'. Jim Watt said in commentary that he heard him say it too.
