The Marco Huck vs. Firat Arslan scheduled for September 14 is off at least for now, because Huck has an elbow injury.

It's a shame it's cancelled as it would have made a good pre fight before the Mayweather card started.

Huck is a born warrior and would fight anyone so i do think it'll be a genuine injury rather then something more.

I bet Huck just wants to continue being an inactive ducker of difficult fights. :verysad This guy barely ever defends his title and never to anyone that poses half a threat to him. Fishy? I smell something ducky! :ibutt

    true
but we really never know the truths to these injuries. His head could have not been in training camp or he could have looked like crap in sparring and his team could have made up an injury scenario.
or he could really be hurt
    either way, this kinda sucks

    :pc

On the plus side that means the afternoon is now freed up for non-boxing activities before settling in for the epic PPV card. So there's a little silver lining. (though probably not for poor old Arslan, who doesn't have much time left to wait around for **** like this...)

Compared to caveman Huck and barbrawler Arslan, Matthysse looks like a cross between Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson:yep

Maybe they would wait for Arslan to turn 43 before fighting him again.

Usually Huck fights 3 times per year but maybe he needs a break. He has been in some real wars lately.

    Good news.

Arslan is deserving of a rematch with Huck.
