Lennox Lewis probably has the longest list of being a duckee from an elite fighter:

Ruddock-only fought him because was forced with eliminator
    Bowe-threw belt in the can
Foreman-simply said no thanks and didn't want to fight Lennox
Tyson-paid millions to avoid the fight
Holyfield-dragged his feet as long as he could

So three ducks and two half-ducks. (ducklings? Anyway you can't say Ruddock and Holyfield ducked him when they did in fact ultimately step in with him, even if they intended to duck him...)

Also I love the word duckee.

It was most blatant bitschery in recent years.

It was as bad or worse than Bowe throwing his titles in the trash.

Ward is sooooooooooooo lucky that Bute made the career altering mistake of underestimating the hostile crowd and the resilience of the caged dog mentality that Froch had before that fight.

Had Bute brought Froch to Canada, and had Froch resolved to retire, Bute wouldve won his little UD and Ward would have been forced to put his title in the bin, just like Bee-atch, I mean Bowe.:deal

I count Ruddock as a full duck because he repeatedly said he wouldn't fight him til forced.

Evander was never forced to fight Lennox, but did delay it as long as possible.

So Lennox was the duckee clearly by 4 high profile fighters and half a duck by another.

It would be an interesting study, but I don't see another high profile fighter in the modern era who has more evidenced of being ducked.

we need to remember in some cases it's not the fighter it's his management.

True but in the case of my example in the OP, it comes off plain as day being just as much Amir's reluctance as Frank's.

Khan was very mouthy regarding Thaxton but if he wanted to prove himself the best lightweight in the UK in that period he ought to have gotten him in the ring and showed it, and didn't.

He was hardly the sort of suppressible persona that Frank could hush up and tell he was protecting for their own good, either. The cold abrupt manner in which Khan eventually split with him a couple of years later to defect to GBP with no advance notice showed how little he feared the wrath of Fish Eyes.

Pac saying no to the original 50/50 2 week cut off then turning down 40 million has to be the biggest duck...

Don't forget, refusing OSDT, then demanding it himself once the Floyd fight is no longer in the picture.
