What like Victor Ortiz did against Lopez?

Or when Vassell has his undefeated record on the line against Gavin?

Fighting with a broken jaw, especially for 10 rounds, takes ****ing tonnes of heart and bottle.

so you would quit i get it victor , but as i said ortiz was apparently to good looking to get hit off maidana like that and quit , again very bad comparison.
so for 150 -200 k you would not fight with a broken jaw:patsch
do we have any proof it was round two cause i aint convinced :bart

You would have to be put in the situation, don't say you would carry on yourself because I imagine you've never fought for half an hour with a snapped jaw.

I have good reason to think Victor Ortiz, a world champion boxer and former challenger to pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather, is a far tougher character than yourself yet he couldn't do it - likewise Vassell.

I know one decent, hard, pro fighter who retired immediately with a broken jaw.Admittedly not a champion.Credit to Burns for carrying on,and credit to Nelson for helping him.I wouldn't mind seeing him retire now.For me,he's overachieved a bit and done exceptionally well.Beat some top fighters and he's been a fighting champion.Come across as a decent lad and an example to youngsters taking up boxing.Nothing whatsoever to prove.

Until you have felt pain like it and the recuperation involved in it, you will never know if you would be able to fight with it.

    Of course you have

Anyway let's play along... was this street fight against a world title challenger and long time sparring partner of Pacquiao?

You know, someone who can actually fight.

  12. No ones bad mouthing Burns for the robbery... the corrupt ****s involved need pulling up and that includes Hearn and especially the yank judge who scored it for Burns by 2.

    **** shouldn't work again.

Full credit to Ricky he is one tough man with a tonne of heart, when the final bell went the look on his face showed the pain he was in. Credit must also go to Billy for telling Ricky he is the champion and these are the things champions have to go through, without billy in the corner I'm 100% confident Ricky wouldn't of come out for the 11th round. I can give them both all the credit in the world but that doesn't change the fact that Ricky clearly lost the fight and should no longer be the champ
