His time at the top was long gone, expect Devon Alexander to upercut this kid and knock him into kingdom come, AK is no longer relevant in boxing anymore...he will lose...glass Jaw...however his wife is pretty hot, she'll get the D anytime for sure, why is she with a Glass Jaw when she can have a Concrete Dick for dinner anytime and anywhere!
You poor, untraveled kid. Life is about money, status and power. That's the A-list (along with intelligence and education); everything else is on the B-list and below. Moving on, if Amir loses to Devon then he is finished. He can still bring his career back, but he's definitely on his last lifeline. I've been a long-time fan of his, but I won't tolerate another loss for someone who didnt have to take so many losses in a career if he was just a bit smarter. I'm not a fan of all that tough guy, machismo bull****.
Amir is on his last lifeline right now. And Devon Alexander (who woulda thought?) may be the one to put him away for good. Funny how things work out. Timothy Bradley on HBO (PPV again), still taking on elite opponents and making millions. While Khan takes on the likes of Julio Diaz on some random TV channel.
Crazy how khan was seen as the dominant one When bradley backed out of fighting him. The turn of events their careers took is a stark reminder, that pleasing the fans and fighting whoever is not smart. Tim was hated for his shiet but it paid off..
Exactly. Fans gave Bradley crap for "ducking" Khan (pure BS) but in the end he proved to be way smarter than the average keyboard warrior. In the end, he probably did Khan a favor
Amir probably knows himself the stakes are high for him to win this fight. A loss would probably see the end of his career. Amir has been his worse enemy in Boxing. He neglected his talents and hasn't been disciplined enough. For me, Amir could have been a great boxer but things have held him back. Would be sad to see Amir getting knocked out by Devon. I hope he wins.
A lot of hate Kkhan gets on these forums. I feel for the guy. Dude did stupid things against Garcia in what could have been an easy TKO for him, throwing uppercuts from the outside 3 feet away, would definitely get you KO'd sooner or later. He also only had to face Garcia vs moving up against Mayweather had he won the Peterson fight like most agreed he did. Makes you wonder. Perosnally I think him taking on Devon at his first 147 fight is a bad move. He needs to sink in before taking on a champion
Agree tho thurman calls all the fighters from 140 that have moved up catch weight fighters, do basically he's fighting a fellow 140 fighter at 147.:yep
I like Devon Alexander, but he's feather fisted and not knocking khan out. I see khan blitzing Alexander the first 5 rounds easy. If he doesn't finish him or break a mentally week alexander then devon would probably take the later rounds. Its a pick em fight for me, I'd probably be a split or close decision for khan just to make the mayweather fight.
I just don't see it from devon, he hurt his hand in his last fight going for the ko. I believe he dished out a beating to the other guy and he failed to answer the bell, but not a one punch ko guy. But since he's moved up in weight he's looking better and stronger. If khan gets ko'd by Alexander its time to hang em up.
So enlighten me, what makes Alexander "feather fisted"? Because he doesn't have a high KO percentage on boxrec? Its posts like these that has detracted me from ESB as of late. Maybe it's just me but when I think "feather-fisted" I don't think of a fighter whose uppercuts are capable of lifting their opponents clean off the canvas. Khan has terrible defense, a severe lack of ring awareness and doesn't know how to gauge distance. Those are some serious flaws going against a guy in Alexander that can exploit all three. Alexander out-muscles and batters Khan to a mid round stoppage
