he does not commit to his shots because of his style, if he commits power he is more vulnerable. he waits until the mid to late rounds when he has you figured out then he slowly increases the pressure until you have to get out of the kitchen. if you man up and show heart he generally gauges it and knows you will be in there for all 12 rounds so he goes back to pop shotting

His shots must still hurt though as the saying goes its the ones you don't see that hurt the most.

agree with you but I was thinking that he don't use his full power when he throws his punches cuz he knows that he could injury his hands. Less full power punches.

Barrera, the expression is 'pot shotting, not POP shotting', just sayin'.

Its both hands. The reason you know Floyd can punch is no one does to Floyd what Arreola did to Mitchell. Walk him down and knock him out.

I tell this to people all the time. Floyd doesn't need knockout power. In fact, no one does. He just needs enough to convince you to stop doing this, or start doing that. That is his game. You like jabbing? Okay, here's a dozen right hands over the jab. Still want to jab?

De La Holla didn't get so tired that he couldn't throw the jab. He was convinced that throwing the jab wasn't getting enough results, and the price he payed for throwing them convinced him to lower his output. Floyd didn't need to knock him out, just convince him. It takes a ton of discipline to beat someone like Floyd because he's a master at building these simple physical arguments for common counterpoints.

I noticed this in the Guerrero fight. He kinda slaps with shots sometimes.

I'm not surprised at all. Mayweather is pretty damn good about having solid fundamental punching technique. It's not always perfect, but it is damn near perfect. That, and he punches from odd angles at times. I would imagine he certainly carries some pop.
