Floyd has to gain 6 pounds .... Alvarez only gotta lose 1.5 .... That weight is from the last fight of each fighter ..I want Floyd to win ... But youth, strength size and that jab r gonna be a issue he will be slower at 52.. This gonna be one the greatest fights we will ever see.... Again I hope floyd wins I just really don't see it ....

I think this will be a very tense fight but i doubt it will be that exciting.

Credit to Mayweather if he manages to beat Alvarez. I expect him to do it but still.

    I agree.

Like you said, the jab will be key. I think he'll hit Floyd with it and it will surprise Floyd.

This will coerce Floyd into throwing more punches, and that's when you'll see that counter left hook to the body and that right cross come into play.

Kid has good combinations, good defense, and he feints well.

    This is no Guerrero.

Mayweather doesn't have to come in at 152, and I doubt he will. Probably 150/151 at the most. I don't think he will be slower due to weight, but maybe because of age. He's 37, he look great last time out, but a fighter can get old overnight. Even a slow floyd is quicker then canelo, but anything can happen.

He 36 and putting on 6 pounds .... And the younger guy must lose 1.5 ... And canelo can box and punch Floyd can only box he gonna be slow enough to hit... I just don't see him winning

I'm on the same boat. Canelo will hit his body, and he's not a slapper like Guerrero.

Can't believe some of the tripe I'm reading.. write Floyd off at your peril.

Canelo is in for it... he can smash up all the sparring partners he wants, you tell me who else has the accuracy and timing combined with speed that Mayweather possess? That will be the difference in this fight.

Those are their weights for their last fights, not sure why the op thinks that has any relevance now as floyds last fight was at welter. apparently floyd is hovering around 150 at the moment
