at1 is a former pro boxer. Sometimes I wonder if he took too many shots in the ring during his career with some of the stuff he posts.

Ah ok lol yep means nothing... losing exta weight is always going to be more difficult than putting on a few lbs... think about it, your training 2/3 times a day, would you want to be able to eat more, recover quicker... or eat less, have a caloric deficit to lose weight = slower recovery...

yes but one would think youd want to get as close to the limit as you are comfortable so your not david in there with Goliath (though it seems inevitable canelo will outweigh him by 20 lbs MINIMUM)

apparently floyd has never been comfortable fighting at 154...so coming in around 148 aint gonna matter, thats his best weight....and being 20 pounds heavier because he drank a lot of water after the weigh in doesnt mean jack in the actual fight...its water weight...and speed kills....all this size garbage that has been talked about alvarez means nothing vs a real professional like mayweather who will in fact weigh the same as on the day before
chris byrd and ali were always out weighed by their opponents (Ali pre 1970s) and they preferred a 20 pound "disadvantage"

    :cheers
No doubt and unlike most here you actually stepped foot into the ring and fought as a pro against good opposition. I think we will have a great night of boxing come Saturday night.

The only way to defeat Floyd is to throw punches in bunches, which is why ne never fought Pacquiao and he knew Pacquiao would be his most difficult test.

The only people who have had success with Floyd... like Cotto is when they made him fight at a pace which was faster than his usual self. Even THEN Mayweather still adjusted....

Look at the Cotto fight, why was he succesful because he threw volume punches, and didn't let Mayweather think.

Alvarez, his stamina won't allow this in my opinion. Heck, Cotto's stamina wouldn't have either if it wasn't for Pedro who trained the hell out of Cotto and then Cotto dumped him for Roach.

I also see that Mayweather when hitting the heavy bag is getting ready to throw many body punches. Look at his routine, they have a game plan to drain the wind of Canelo early and if Canelo is not a great fighter on Saturday, I expect Mayweather to even pull of the TKO.

Prime Pacquiao would give Mayweather hell... imagine Pacquaio throwing over 100 punches per round.... same as Margarito, who didn't care about getting hit, but would just pressure and throw punches in bunches... not saying Mayweather would loose but that is the blue print to defeat him.

To be willing to take a few flush shots to give a few flush shots, to have a good chin and to throw volume punches. Sounds easy on paper, but hard to execute. The whole DLH blueprint, that is a lie.. there are rumors that PBF made it closer for a rematch to playout but when DLH didn't want to give him the money he wanted to, he retired of course... but DLH didnt have the blue print.

Styles make fights, and Mayweather might just TKO Canelo in my opinion.

I disagree with this whole volume punchers theory. I mean ok, guerreros nothing compared to pac but hes had fights throwing over 1000 punches... its different when your throwing and missing constantly.. you become gun shy.. and it's also tiring when your hitting thin air.. the person that beats floyd is the person that out thinks him.
