How much of a chance does "Swift" have of defeating Matthysse?

Im going with 30 to 35. Hes a good fighter that's in his prime, good power, good chin, no real bad stamina issues. Theres not a whole lot of gaps in what he does. However, his defense isn't the best, and its hard for me to envision him standing up to what Lucas does once the fight starts to mature a bit more (5th, 6th rounds)

Nothing will surprise me here outside of an early stoppage for either guy. Other then that, a Danny win, Lucas win, or a stoppage win late for either guy, would not shock me (ok maybe a danny win by stoppage even late would surprise me a bit lol)

But I have to favor Lucas here by a margin, and will pick him to win by late stoppage with angel throwing in the towel.

    Lucas 65
    Danny 35

    Lucas TKO 10

Danny will not stand up to the Lucas bombs ,however I can see Lucas taken a hard shot and surviving ,this guy drops everyone ,some gets up and some have the ring doctor flashing that little flash light in there eye. Matthysee by a KO I can see Lucas knocking him down at least three times by the third round.

Bet matthysse by KO and you'll win a lot of money.

Everyone is talking up Mathysse's sublime power but neglect Garcia has a punch in both hand as well. I haven't seen Lucas take one on the Cheen either. As it stands i'd give the Swift 50 % chance of beating and seriously hurting Lucas..We will see how the Argentine responds. Will he back up , play dumb and keep taking Swift's hard bombs?

He's got as much chance as Lucas, maybe better. Lucas has more experience, but Lucas makes mistakes that leave him open. Danny is kind of a plodder, but he has a good defense and offensively, just needs that little opening. Both are hard hitting, accurate punchers who love to brawl. I'm expecting them to start cautious, but then revert to their true natures and trade. Once that happens, it will be like fire meeting fuel with one man left standing.

Look how aggressive Ashley Theophane was in that fight and Danny was giving a gift he constantly got hit with the right hand ,that's not even half of the pressure Lucas will put on him and if he runs the whole fight he loses those round ...Matthysse by a 5th round KO.

Lucas should be taking out Garcia late after a legit fight, unless I missed something in their camps leading up.

Then you need to rewatch the Judah fight. He takes a few solid hard shots right to the face and chin.

I agree with most of this.

I do think Matthysse could KO Garcia early. Garcia isn't the hardest to find and if Lucas lands clean it'd be hard to anybody to stand up to it (Garcia got caught quite a lot by Khan before he started making adjustments, although he will probably be more cautious vs Matthysse).

Also I could see the fight ending on cuts, Garcia has been cut against Zab and Khan so there's a good chance Matthysse could spill some blood which could result in doctor stoppage or make Garcia take risks when knowing he is on borrowed time and get caught in return.

    I said 30%

Matthysse will have to make a big mistake and Garcia will have to capitalize on it.

Two chances in my opinion. Slim and none. Lucas will finish the fight inside 10 rounds.
