Boxing Fans and Team Alvarez have brought up the Mayweather-Cotto fight as evidence that Floyd isn't unbeatable but if you ask me that fight is just added experience for Mayweather. He made none of those same tactical errors against Guerrero. The fight that speaks volumes to me is Alvarez-Mosley, here we see Saul struggling with a 40 year old man fresh off of one sided losses to Floyd, Pac, and an awful fight against Mora. Shane actually finished the fight stronger than Alvarez!! Saul also looked pedestrian against Austin Trout.

After going back and watching these fights I see now why The Money Team is so confident. Alvarez is strong early and then gasses. He actually ran out of ideas against Shane and was just reacting without thinking, going through the motions. Floyd will exploit Saul's lack of a plan B. I see Floyd putting on a clinic in the second half of the fight, sorry Canelo fans but Mayweather stays unbeaten.

Mosley did rock Floyd to his boots though, something he was unable to do against Canelo, I agree that Floyd went on to dominate after the scare and win much easier than Canelo did.

Mosley really redeemed himself in the Canelo fight imo, after lackluster performances against Mora and Pacquiao he did himself justice in that fight, just couldn't pull the trigger anymore.

A 30 year old Mosely would have beaten Alvarez handily. Alvarez landed bombs on Shane and couldn't rock him. Mayweather is a much better boxer than either Canelo or Mosely. Easy win for Mayweather at least 7 rounds to 5.

I'm a big Shane fan, but I'm not so sure about that, Flatty.

Mosley always had more trouble looking good at 154. I think Mosley would obviously do much better, and he very well may have won against Canelo, but I think north of welterweight Shane never had an easy time when facing a good opponent.

Canelo's all hype and his punching power is vastly overrated couldn't even finish Matthew Hatton. Still he's young and can improve.

Mosely when younger was able to adjust to another fighter's style as well if not better than Mayweather does. I remember his first fight with De La Hoya. Shane might have well have been an artist the way he painted the masterpiece against Oscar.

I see Mayweather sitting back the first 4 rounds, learning Canelo's style and then countering everything Canelo does for the next 8 rounds.

i bet on shane in that fight and he lost.

outlanded by 100 punches, outhrown by 100 punches and outlanded by 26 to 36 in connect percentage.

    what fight were you watching?

or were you referring to their first fight, which shane deservedly won.

    uh no.

floyd does will not give up four rounds because he knows he could get robbed on the cards.

hes going to try, and need, to win every round.

did you not see stanley christodoulous card in the trout/canelo fight?

and why else would floyd open as a +700 tko/ko/dq and then get bought down to +460?

hes going for the ko here and there is not going to be any "sitting back" as you say.

Mayweather will never get robbed if he clearly wins the last 8 rounds.

by clearly do you mean that he both outthrows and outlands canelo by twice as many punches in the round?

because that didnt work too well for austin, who was somehow down nine points after eight rounds on stanley chrisodoulous card when he both outthrew and outstruck canelo by twice as many shots in four of the eight rounds

    http://www.***********.com/forums/view.php?pg=canelo-trout-compubox

floyds not going to be taking any rounds off.

i gamble on mma and boxing and floyd -250 is a bad line.

sure floyd will win the compubox punch stats but that doesnt mean that he is going to win the fight on the cards

naz came out a couple months ago and said that this is the fight floyd could get robbed in.

ive never heard anyone say that regarding floyd mayweather.

    ever.

Void could not knock Cotto out, but Pac did. Pac knocked Hatton out in the second round, Void has to have his referee to protect him over the first half of the fight to keep Hatton from fighting on the inside. Void's referee also took a point away from Hatton for accidently hitting one of the ring ropes with a missed punch!

I have no idea what you mean by -250. Explain to me mate because I'm not clued up on betting odds. It just goes over my head lol. Why is this a bad line for Floyd, what impact could it have come fight night?
