Yeah, it turned it a real horror show. I think drug abuse had a lot to do with it. There are probably thousands of meth heads and dope addicts denying they've got AIDs and carrying on like that, looking like zombies and spouting demented paranoid stuff. It just so happens Morrison used to be somebody.
That is sick. I guess when you are on drugs and boxing use to make you money you will tell any lie to get more drug money. Even deny having aids, when in reality he just took medicine to lower his viral load to an undetectable state (yes the medicine is that good now, but it has the side effect of rapidly aging you.) So it is almost certain he had aids which would explain why they won't realease the cause of death
His mom or his wife released the cause. I cant remember what it was but if you look it up its a common illness associated with aids. Even his longtime friend/manager after he died basically admitted he had aids by saying something to the effect of "Tommy got an idea (that he didnt have aids) in his head and that was his reality. You just couldnt make him see otherwise." Whats bad is that unless Im mistaken this guy was actively trying to help Tommy circumvent the various bans on his boxing career while knowing that it would be dangerous for the opponent.
During Tommy's "comeback" years From 2007 - 2008, he worked with two trainers: Jerry "school boy" Cheatham, and later John Brown for his 2008 fight against Matt Weishaar. He was allegedly training with Jesse Reid in 2011 for his anticipated fight in Canada. I took those two for pretty honest guys, i don't know much about Jesse Reid. But I suppose if you are the fighter and you are paying money, the trainer has to train you....
Well as long as he boxes only other aids people I guess that is fine, but that is deeply sickening. All the blame can't go on him because he was a druggie despertate for money, to me the trainers are just as bad if not worse. Why would anyone fight him?
Some people act strange, and others face it. I not sure how I act if I caught Aids, So I dont blame Morrison from I suppose running away from it in the view point here I guess. Its one of the worse things that can happen to a person.
What about the referee, who often gets splattered with blood? Or those ringside? I guess if it was an all aids event but... I distinctly remember one boxing broadcast where the commentator on air said that his partner had put his clipboard on top of his coffee cup because they were getting splattered with blood and didnt want blood in his coffee. Now imagine that scene with one of the fighters as Morrison... yeah... no thank you.
