What questions have i avoided?

 

It really is sad how it's went over here mate.This was the first and only forum I'd ever been on until it went bad ****,but it's nice to see a few decent people like yourself here.
It seems the rules for these three are;If we make personal and baseless accusations,you're not allowed to reply because it's a boxing forum,but if you put a challenging question regarding boxing to them,insults and non boxing posts are the order of the day.
This was the greatest boxing forum in the world bar none,and now we have the likes of Marshmallow and his bumchums stinking the place out.
Keep up the good fight mate.Their lack of knowledge or ability to debate will see them regularly found out.:good

I remember you mentioning that you've trained at the same gym as Ricky. He can be very proud of what he's achieved; when I saw him struggling with O'Hara I thought he was a Kevin Mitchell victim waiting in the wings. His improvements have been wholly unexpected.

And btw - I didn't mean to excessively critical when I said you have historically 'overrated' Ricky; you have a personal involvement with the man. It's natural to see the best in those we are associated with, and to highlight/magnify the positives and downplay the weaknesses despite our understanding of the need to remain objective at all times.

This is why I was so shocked when Billy posted his scorecard; for me the level of honesty displayed is very, very rare (only bettered by Woodhall's courageous post fight interview after his bout with Catley).

How often has trainer, (or promoter for that matter), declared that their man lost? I don't know what all of these critics are expecting of Billy. Do they not understand that his personal involvement means that his judgement is always going to be somewhat partial? And that his scorecard is not actually that dissimilar to many impartial viewers?

Again I repeat, when has a fighter/promoter (other then Woodhall) explicitly admitted defeat in such circumstances.

And I just want to add that as someone who has battled various debilitating long term illnesses in the past 8 years, I know that it takes incredible amount of strength to support an ailing family member. I wish you and your son all the best. Here's hoping to a speedy recovery.

 

I think alot of it is funny, bit of banter and people need to take it like that instead of throwing their dollies out of the pram.

Whats your thought on Garcia/Matthysse?

We know they both have power, Lucas really impressed me just how quick he took out Peterson but i dont know if Garcia will fall into those traps that early.
Great fight to call, Garcia amatuer backgroud is solid, not sure on lucas' though so im a bit torn at the minute. Judah really gave garcia a fight but when he is up for it he can with anyone so its hard to judge

 

If it's a boxing site and you don't like posts that don't contain a reference to boxing,why do you make so many yourself.
You can put all the laughing emoticons and personal insults up that you want,but you again dodge my question.
Someone made baseless accusations about me and I corrected her.Why do you have a problem with that?
And you got shown up last night with your bull**** about Billy all the time completely unaware that he said Beltran deserved the win.
Another question while I'm at it.Can you discuss boxing without resorting to personal insults when the going gets tough?

and as for the baseless accusations, people with 1000's of posts usually fall into that category but i wasn't to know his kid was ill. Can only imagine what thats like having a kid of my own. Pray to god that he/she makes a speedy recovery.
