Canelo didn't hurt a lightweight with good defense? What is he going to do with someone with ATG defense?

    Hmmmmm........ :bbb

"Dargan claims that he never was hurt by Alvarez, even though he acknowledges the champion's power"

He was just not hit clean it seems.

What's funny is that quote is a contradiction. He says he rolls off the punches... so if he gets hit clean... it doesn't hurt. Except if you DO get hit clean, it implies you did not roll with it or dodge etc, because otherwise it would not be a clean hit. Obviously, there's a bit of fiction there.

Like any big fight, there is always things said that are pretty much just to hype the fight in some way.

what do you expect him to say? not everyone, especially fighters, are willing to admit they got their ass whooped.

"He beat the **** and **** out of me. His body shots made me extrude blood from every orifice in my body, including my pores and hair follicles. I'm quitting boxing."

I dont understand you guys. Mayweather isn't the one who has anything to prove, its canelo that does...

Canelo is the big unknown, sure we saw him barely eek pass a good fighter trout, and we have seen him struggle with old mosley... he is a big question mark... the kid has skills, but his power MAYBE overrated, he isn't a big puncher honestly -- he's no GGG. We will see what he can achieve in his fight with Mayweather, whether he is the goods or not. He doesn't even need a victory to be seen the goods, just a great performance, and he could come out elevated.

Have I said anything about Mayweather's boxing ability? Na I haven't and he is a great fighter obviously more proven than Canelo.

Just sick of *****'s like the TS and yourself who talk so much shite about steroid tests, catch weights etc. then hypocritically go back on your collective word.

No doubt you will all be saying how great Canelo is IF Mayweather does manage to win.

I will rate him according to his performance and the condition of Mayweather as a fighter going into the fight. He is past prime, but despite that, still considered the best in the world, and really this would be the best type of victory anyone can dream of at this stage of the game. It would be a great victory, if he won convincingly or even close but fair. I dont want no controversial victories -- no trout ****.
