we'll see. the difference between fury and valuev and wlad, in my opinion is the fact that one, valuev was the first giant haye had ever faced, and someone he shook badly, and wladimir klitschko, although he has had a questionable chin (my point exactly) getting to it is pretty much an impossibility for any heavyweight. neither of these things can be said about fury, not to mention the fact that haye now has three fights against giants if you include audley harrison under his belt going into the fight with fury.

Fury isn't a coward like Audley.. Fury actually fights back when hurt, and doesn't go down without a fight. I know Fury won't freeze like A-farce does, he's not that kind of fighter. I wouldn't be shocked if Haye knocked Fury out, but I think Haye will be scared in the early rounds and won't go for the KO. Don't be shocked if Haye does nothing and easily gets outpointed. This isn;t a fight I would bet on, but i'm pretty confident that Fury has this one in the bag.

If it goes to the cards you can be CERTAIN Fury's hand will be the one being raised (unless he has survived 4 knockdowns!)

Haye lands on average 11 punches per round at H/W.

    Fury lands 70

Haye should win this, despite Fury's size, youth, and record.

@Damian38 -You are right in the fact that Haye doesn't like to take risky fights, but since losing to Wlad he's going to have to do that if he wants to become a mandatory. Fury is a risky fight, comparing Fury to A-farce is insulting, he doesn't freeze and he fights back when hurt. also despite being chinny, he's showed that he can recover well unlike A-farce who has equally bad recuperative skills to go along with his glass jaw.

I see more ways for Fury to win this fight than Haye. Fury can win a points decision if Haye fights scared and can't land a counter shot. Also a Fury KO in the later rounds when Haye is tired is entirely out of the question. I think Haye can win only by early KO. if Fury gets careless and tries to brawl, then yeah Haye will likely be able to knock him out.

My point exactly. I don't see how Haye can win this one on the cards.

Crazy how a guy who will be giving up about 50 lbs 8" height 7" reach and 8 years youth can be so heavily favorited.

Shows how dead HW is, sad but true.

Fury would have a much better chance doing a Bowe/Hide than trying to fight at range, Chisora was clearly getting to Haye using his size and could have had Haye out of there in the 3rd had they not rung the bell 15b secs early, after that he got sloppy throwing looping rights and was bound to get countered.

Fury's got even more size than Chisora and should lean all over Haye and rough him up on the inside, if he don't give Haye the openings or leverage to land those counters like Chisora did, I give him a great chance in this fight

Saying that I still think Haye will find a way to win this one, he's proved me wrong more than once (I picked Harrison and Momreck to beat him)

I don't know how Peter measures this. I remember him posting a lot of BS about Tyson's body fat % before. If you have 9% body fat then you're pretty ripped, and Tyson never looks ripped.

When this first fight was announced i said Haye would do him inside three rounds.

If Fury boxes like he did againts Cunningham then i stand by that, but to me Peter Fury looks like an intelligent guy.

Im sure they have got something up there sleeve, I just hope adam booth has a plan b for his fighter, because ive never seen Haye chase a bigger man round the ring coming forward slipping shots and landing bombs.

In the crudest possible terms, Haye has a punchers chance.

That's pretty much it, as he is outgunned in every other meaningful area.

It surprises me has such mean odds.

mate Haye has beaten the much higher calibre of fighters and has won world title fights before.

he also has the higher ko ratio, which means something when he has fought the better opponents.

    I don't disagree.

I just think if it goes to the cards Haye loses, if it goes past 6 Haye also loses.

It is a puncher's chance, but not as in a lucky punch ... Haye like Price and Wilder has devastating power :good

But like Price ( and I imagine Wider too, that's why he is protected) if you can not be stopped early and give something and interest in return then the punchers normally gas by 4 or 5 as they have exhausted their options?
