Haye will be the first to KO Fury.

Haye's blistering speed and power will drop Fury like a sack of potatoes.

    Mid rounds.

Your analysis of Haye-Fury was quite reasonable.

But what does the fact that Haye is favored over the bigger Fury have to do w/the HW div being "dead"? :huh :think
Dempsey, Louis, Marciano, etc were often favored over bigger foes. The HW div must have been dead then too :-(

Haye and Fury would have beat most if not all of the top (for those eras) HWs of the 60s, 70s, 80s, etc.

Fans tend to live in some mythical golden past - often for suspicious reasons - in boxing more than any other sport. Comparing greats of the past to current fighters below HW makes some sense.
It's absurd for HWs, who keep getting bigger and better.

I really think Haye's reflexes and countering will land him a KO somewhere in the middle round of the fight.

If Fury can pull the win off, I'll tip my cap to him and give him full credit because he is a solid underdog in my book.

Fury is easy to hit and has a glass chin fighting a guy who is extremely fast and has great power. Fury will get knocked out before 5

Haye has a glass jaw himself. Unlike Haye Fury has never been stopped, I would say Hayes chin is much worse than Fury's. Haye won't KO Fury, but you are right in that Haye will need to KO Fury early. Haye will play the running game and get soundly outpointed by Fury.

I hope Fury will be in great physical shape, because then the Fury fans won't have any excuses when their hero looks clumsy and overwhelmed in the ring as Haye dances around him and outboxes him. That's how I see this unfold anyways, no matter how well prepared Fury is.

Kind of like how Haye overwhelmed and outboxed Valuev and Wlad? :think

fury's a ****ing bum! he's got nothing but size and heart which is enough to beat some people but not the likes of Haye, or any decent HW with power with his no pop, sloppy D and glass chin

All Haye did was run against Valouev. He landed on big punch and Valouev did not go anywhere. Haye lost, some rounds he only threw 2 punches! A split decision that he did not deserve, but money was at stake and Don King was involved...........

he was tired, yes, his conditioning is not the best, but also look at how many heavy punches he landed on Chisora in those 5 rounds, there is absolutely no possible chance Fury can take that many right hands and not go down

I'd have Fury the favorite if he had better defense and footwork, but I agree with the posters who say Fury will win the dec should it go to the cards

Many thought Haye lost to Valuev and infact a 50 year old Holyfield beat Valuev more convincingly away from home than Haye did in front of his own fans.

The thing is every time fury has been put on his arse its been from that same overhand right and this shot really is Hayes bread and butter, i cant see fury finally sorting out this problem and it'll be over in two or three rounds.

I think Fury has him. Lean on him and jab all night. Haye will be gassed by round 9. Fury has to be extra careful though, but I'm calling Fury by big UD first, maybe even a late KO.
