    Think i voted 8 before hand, probably closer to a solid 9. Very few fighters have a chance of seeing the final bell if he hurts them. The way he destroyed Mack was fantastic, didnt even get out of 1st gear.

    All this you hear from commentators about not showing that you're hurt is usually bull**** as stone cold finishers are far and few to be seen.With Froch on the other hand it's pretty much a fatal flaw to show him anything the way he came after Taylor after the 1st knockdown was truly chilling.

    That bodyshot was brutal i cant see anyone taking that , but I cant see Ward leaving himself in a position like that or kessler mach was wide open for that..

    He's a good finisher when he senses his opponent is hurt. The way he stalked Taylor with malicious intent in the 12th was impressive and slightly disturbing, I'm glad to see so many others also appreciate it.

    One of the best, when Froch smells blood he goes full on Beast Mode and rips his prey asunder, but its not just the finish that counts its the aftermath. He completely and totally ruins them, he swallows their soul whole, he should change his name to The Anaconda.

    I wonder how much Groves I & II (this was last bumped a couple of months prior to Groves I) have changed perceptions on this, either way? :think

    Since I picked Carl to finish him both times it hasn't changed mine just solidified my original opinion, and as far as the Froch haters go they'll just say George is a bum, even though they were backing him the first time.

    For the record the reason I signed on here and became an official member is because I wanted to follow the RBR of Froch Groves 1 and read along for Pacquiao Rios and the site wouldn't let me that day without signing up. But I've been following the site for years.

    Didn't change my opinion much. First fight -On the one hand he didn't look great leading up to the stoppage. He was missing quite a lot and his punches seemed to lack power but on the other hand once he hurt Groves a bit he did make the most of the opportunity, didn't let Groves off the hook and got the stoppage even if it was a premature one.
    In the second fight he just one punch KO'd him so that doesn't really allow him to show the kind of finishing abilities that are being talked about.
