Canelo said he would fight PBF at a catchweight years ago even before the fight talks for this fight. Where have you been?

    They demanded.

    But there is none.

    So it's irrelevant.

    Period.

    Keep having fun though.

I'm a floyd fan, but not obsessed and i'm not defending this sh**. Maybe it's just mind games or team Mayweather is really nervous. Either way floyd gets the win, but this makes it interesting.

I don't give a **** what Floyd says. He did that purely to deride legitimate Pacquaio wins. When you make all the money, you make all the rules. Hence, why his tone is changing. He wants the catchweight to drain Alvarez to make the fight easier. I don't think anyone will deny that, and I have zero problem with it. He's taking all the risk.

You know what? I am glad Floyd is fighting at a catchweight just to see these Floyd fans defending him for things they criticized another fighter for doing.

It's honestly the most pathetic thing I've seen. Very funny though.

Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe said it was simply the "A-side" fighter getting the upside over the "B-side" fighter. Mayweather usually fights at 147 pounds.

"We just took advantage of a situation. It's no different from basketball, football or baseball," he said. "You're always going to put your opposition at a disadvantage, if you can. You break 'em down and you go in for the kill.

but but but Floyd wants to fight fighters at their best weight so that they're comfortable. I guess that only applies if your a washed up Miguel Cotto or De La Hoya.

Nobody likes a rehydration clause. I think they're ***** moves and shouldn't be allowed in boxing unless a fighter misses weight.

But there is none for this fight

Isn't fighting above 147 a disadvantage for Floyd too?

So Floyd is at a 5 pound disadvantage while Alvarez is at a 2 pound disadvantage?

Yeah and Floyd says he dont do that, he doesnt put fighters at disadvantages and doesnt dehyrate them.

It also explains how its not a legit win.

What's your thoughts on that ?

The coward thing about it is, Canelo says that team Mayweather wanted to him to be quiet about it, so I'm pretty sure they have things in the contract saying "You cannot talk about what really goes on" which is weak because while they have you quiet, they run their mouth.
