It's a load of ****, I tweeted Gilberto Mendoza from the WBA to say so all these belts are ruining boxing- he replied that he disagreed lol. What can be done???
well ofcourse he would, he Milks these "Champs" the same amount, so the more belts they have the more money they make.. for Example: they have 3 Champs on the 108 Division and guess what? the WBA 108 "Interim" champ is making its 4th defense in a few days now... no word from the WBA about making a Legit or "Unified" Champion, why? well they would be milking only one belt not three... So Chocolatito Gonzales has to share his Championship with Ioka and Rossel? what a load of crap
There should be this belts: WORLD CHAMP CONTINENT CHAMP COUNTRY CHAMP 3 belts, and ONE organization. Maaaaaaybe som youth titles for the young up and coming also. But i think 3 belts is enough.
While they're at it, they should definitely make copper, wooden, tungsten, iron, bronze, pearl belts to go along with the handful of guys right now that have paper belts...
