Garcia's father loses it at press conference just now

People who only side with fighters because of the country they're from and diregard everything else are god damn sheep. I have no problem being nationalistic, but they shouldn't be surprised if they have a poor fanbase when a guy like Angel Garcia is flapping his lips all the time.

 

This guy obviously has a couple of screws missing.

 

Angel isn't fighting Danny is and even if he was he's trying to sell the fight and hype Danny and has done a good job. If you're American you should be pulling for Danny other countries pull for their own why can't Americans do the same? If we don't support and pull for our own, then who the fcuk will?:-(

 

Im pulling for a great fight against two great fighters ...I have respect for both guys I got love for Garcia ,I just feel Matthyyse is a dangeous guy but his father's actions can leave you with a bad taste in your mouth and thats the reason Danny gets no respect is it fair no but thats the world we live in ..

 

The **** you mean "our own? You mean the dude that only claims the USA when it suits him? They claim puerto rico first an foremost. "our own". The guy throwin racial slurs at zab judah? That must be our own

 

That's the way it supposed to be you're a foreign fighter you're going into a hostile environment. The only thing I take offense to is booing of the national anthem other than that you're fair game.

 

Angel was doing nothing but trying to sell the fight. I take no offense to his remarks during the lead up to the Zab fight. Do you actually think he's racist against Blacks? I don't. Nothing wrong with claiming to be a Puerto Rican American. They're like the 51st state anyway that's like me claiming I'm a Texan.:yep:good

 

Man, I just came from Philadelphia and no wonder why Angel is the way he is. Philadelphia, especially the Northern part above I76 is an absolute wasteland.

 

Trying to hype the fight yeah ok. I know many people like angel an I assure you that wasnt an act. said enough on this already though so good luck to danny

 

Why you all hate, he may be a bit crazy but its all for hyping purposes and you keep falling for it and being sensitive. Not all press conference will be hugs and kisses like pacquaio bradley.

This is a gem, i laughed more in 5 minutes than most comedy movies

lol this is not the olympics. Thats like saying we have to support michael vick because he is american despite his actions. Athletes in other orginizations have to conduct them selfs in specific manners or they get charged with penaltys or discharged. Angel acts like a jackass & for the most part people agree. No one can force any one to like him.

 

Why the hate ? Becuase he comes off as ignorant .At least when Mayorga does it he's the one actually fighting !

 

This is a prime example of why Americans have such a poor reputation to other people.

 

Is it the Olympics when Carl Froch is fighting Kessler in the UK and everyone in the crowd is supporting Froch and booing Kessler?:deal What you fail to realize is that American fans are soft a very un-loyal bunch they will jump ship at the first fighter from another country when they get a chance. Other countries support their fighters regardless whether it be at the Olympics or a pro fight period, just Americans seem not to.

 

Yet other countries support their own but we choose not to. Yeah you're right I see why we would have a **** rep. No loyalty to our own POS, I wouldn't like us either.:deal
