Bull****. In his last fight he weighed in at 153. What's the issue with 152, especially when fighting a much smaller man?

Mayweather could probably not care less about what Canelo weighs. If he comes in at over 152 he loses a large portion of his purse and makes Mayweather richer. If he comes in lighter, so what - he's weaker and needs to hydrate up quickly, if he can. Oscar couldn't.

Mayweather thinks he knows were the fight is headed, the destination if you will. Mayweather believes Canelo can't touch him and the catch weight suited Floyd, no matter who wanted it, as he knows it would be an added pressure on top of everything else for Canelo. The destination for Mayweather is a win, his object is to make the journey as uncomfortable as possible for Canelo and tellingly Mayweather says in the lead up shows - if you can't give 100 percent what's the point in trying. Canelo can't give 100 percent of he's boiling down. Canelo's journey, Floyd's desination - the fact is all roads lead to Mayweather.

    Great fight though. Can't wait.

canelo is in for the money and exposure. once he accepted 152, he knew he's in a big disadvantage. he started bitching about the catchweight just now that he's struggling to make weight

Canelo's not in it for the money, he's in it for the glory. He's not the one bitching about the catchweight. TMT brought it up in all access. Canelo's just pointing out that TMT has been dishonest throughout the entire process. Whether it was trying to get a re-hydration clause, a catchweight, whether it was trying to keep DLH and Canelo "quiet" about it, whether it was repeatedly lying about it when asked. Ellerbe flat out called Canelo's team liars when asked by reporters, then in All Access admitted it was them all along, how it was a smart business move.

Who were the ones bitching and crying about catchweights and re-hydration clauses? Obviously all these were tactics used by TMT to either drain Canelo or limit his re-hydration. But then to lie about it and say it was Canelo's idea. TMT, the fans are not this stupid lmao.

The fact that this catchweight thing has gotten under Canelo's skin means he's definitely struggled to make weight. But it's nothing he isn't used to and I doubt it matters. Floyd better watch those left hooks up and downstairs.

He's not guaranteed 12.5. He's guaranteed 5 and probably a small cut of the PPV.

I have been saying this for weeks, it would be his smartest move and on top of that Mayweather's team could not say a thing, as they did the exact same thing with Marquez.

canelo will be perfectly fine at whatever weight he comes in at today and on fight night.

the only source that says alvarez is struggling to make weight is floyd mayweather sr. and there are no other sources alleging this accusation other than the idiots here. a google source is easy to confirm.

in fact, there is not one reputable and unbiased source(media or sports) even mentioning the words "drained," "problems making the weight," "gaunt," "dehydrated," or "weak."

    nothing.

these threads are fairly stupid as there is no factual evidence to substantiate any of these fabricated claims.

so unless you have link from a credible source for canelo and his alleged weight problems...STFU.

Canelo woke up this morning eating a bowl full of air. Even a half of glass of OJ can put a half of pound back on you ,they should have not taken this fight. Oh well fight is signed.

canelo was at 157 for floyd at the seven day weigh-in whereas he was 159 for trout.

he then went on to officially weigh 153 in that fight. he is right on targe to make 152 and a minimal 153.

now where is that "front page" that you are talking about?

    post a link or STFU.

The same Quincy K that would troll and diss Canelo here on ESB?

"The 5'7 Canelito can't make weight"

"The 5'7 Canelito was being beat by Trout on the inside"

"The 5'7 Canelito blah blah blah"

Now trying to side with "the 5'7 Canelito" to make weight?

Its been #teamCanelo on my side. I know what this kid can do.
