and suddenly Mathysse has gone through a murderous row? His biggest win is Perterson (coming off PEDS). He lost to Judah and Alexander however you shake it. What a KO over Mike Dallas is impressive? LoL Lundy beat Ojose more impressive than Matthysse. If Morales coming off of Maidana was shot to ****, than Mathysse gets no credit for the shot to **** Soto W.

Its all debatable, to me this is bout is as close to PK that you can get.

Yeah, this. OP shows his lack of knowledge when he says nobody was picking Marquez in the fourth fight.

Garcia is rightfully the underdog here. All these people were saying the same about Peterson and Matthysse being a close fight, I couldn't see how Peterson would have much hope at all vs Matthysse and while I see Garcia faring better, I still find it hard to see how he will win baring a huge left hook landing flush. Hardly a 50-50 fight.

It's funny how there is so much more vcash bet on Matthysse (the warm favourite with the odds) yet people are saying its a 50-50 fight? :huh

How contradictory is that statement? Garcia couldn't KO an older version of 'glass jawed Zab' either, Zab (slick and quick) was a bad stylistic matchup for Matthysse, and Matthysse has improved since. Garcia ain't going to turn speedster overnight

I think some people do underrate Danny but some of us felt the same about Lucas two or three years ago.
I've said all along that if LMM gets drawn into a shootout he could get stiffened but I'm sticking with my prediction of Lucas inside nine rounds.
Worth bearing in mind that when a fighter has his dad in the corner, there's always a higher chance of a towel coming in if their kid is under real pressure.

Because Danny hasn't done ****, he struggles against garbage, and is way overdue for a loss.

    Hi Collie, you good?

People only need to look at how much better Lucas' lateral movement has got and he's put a lid on that over eagerness he used to show.
People assume that picking Lucas means you're saying Danny's a bum,and it gets on my tits because it's not the case at all.

I just think Lucas has shown vast improvement in the last 2 years mainly through discipline and movement and I've picked him for this and would against anyone at 140.
Doesn't mean Danny's **** and it wouldn't be the upset of the century if it went Garcia's way.

I've made this point in a couple of other threads, my worry is that Angels ego is more important than his sons health.
Lets hope he doesn't let Danny eat one punch too many.

Styles makes fights. Garcia is such an underdog because he's not a mover nor does he have a good defense. This fits Matthysse's style perfectly.

Hey man, yep I'm good, looking forward to tomorrow night's card :bbb

You said it right, just because people picking Matthysse doesn't mean we think Garcia is a bum. And it wouldn't be the biggest shock if he won but I would be surprised (I'd be a bit wary in the exchanges if Matthysse isn't always looking out for that left hook coming back at him).

Another point that hasn't been mentioned much is that Garcia tends to cut sometimes, that could be a factor in the fight
