Yes he will, he is past his prime, taking this bout.

Even if he loses his legacy is not tarnished, dude is closer to 40, Canelo closer to 20.

Yes idiot past his prime. DLH was 34 when he fought Mayweather and peole called him, shot and faded, so surely Floyd at 36 is past his prime.

The guy is clearly past his prime. No fighter that is 36 is prime. To even suggest that shows how much you don't know about the sport.

This is a crap fight, Canelo will not beat the cherry picker Floyd, who put the limited Canelo(this guy is not a great fighter) in a weight he is not comfortable. Floyd coward even wants rehydration clause.

It is his most intriguing matchup since 2002. So yes he definitively will get credit

Of course he is getting credit. He is getting 41,000,000 in guaranteed credit plus more.

Does Bernard Hopkins get credit for beating Kelly Pavlik at a catchweight?

Full credit, no. The aspersions he's casted in past instances on the idea of a catchweigh only to hypocritically engage in one himself dooms his credibility.
