What do people expect a fighter to do at a weigh in. Cry and run off the stage. Course he's gonna look ready but it doesn't mean he isnt about to get sent back to school
You sound like a defeatist. No one is saying this is a crap fight. This is easily one of the greatest fight made in the last twenty five years of boxing, if not the greatest.
Ya'll are saying it's the same old thing with mayweather opponents. I don't think so -- other than Guerro, who sucks, you can tell they are on edge and let the pressure get to them. Remember, this isn't prime Mayweather anymore either. Of course prime May dominates any form of Canelo, but I'm banking on Floyd aging and getting caught finally, by a young, very ready, strong opponent. I think it may be Canelo's time.
I know, but this isn't prime Mayweather anymore either. He's been deteriorating with every passing fight, getting just a little slower, reflex's not quite at sharp, opponents punches just missing the mark, coming closer and closer to landing. 1 more % slower maybe all Canelo needs. We know Canelo isn't going to outbox mayweather, that is pretty certain. But if Canelo connects just once and hurts mayweather, he will finish him.
Yea, really. Lets be honest here -- we got an aging ATG, facing a young untested champion, who may never be an ATG. I've seen 20 fights bigger than this fight in the past 10-15 years. If mayweather wins as he usually does, just another fight, if Canelo wins, just a huge upset beating a washed up ATG. These aren't 2 prime ATGs facing off as Oscar vs Tito did, or Tyson vs. Holyfield, Vargas vs Tito, Oscar vs. Quartey, vs mosley etc.
I think we are in for a shock tonight, but it won't be that. It'll be something like Canelo getting knocked out, or Floyd getting hurt or possibly knocked down. I still think Floyd is way too smart to be knocked out by Canelo, I feel the ginger boy is gonna realise how great Mayweather actually is tonight.
