    Damm, only because Kirk is Canadian you have to pay for him.
    Else the fight was not PPV worthy

    There is something called inflation, tho it may cost more now the dollar was worth more then.

    I think it had to do with him beinf canadian and our company not having HBO, it was basically paying for HBO Sports more than the fight.

    First fight I remember hearing the price for was Tyson Holyfield 2 because everyone was screaming about paying 50 dollars.

    Its gone up gradually.
    It was 30 bucks in the 80's.
    40 bucks in the 90's
    50 bucks in the 2000's
    Now up to 70 and over.

    Seems like they're raising the price 10 bucks every 10 years.

    I remember getting up in the middle of the night to see Tyson waste guys like Bruno and Spinks without ever having heard about PPV.
