I never really thought he would lose, but people are now laughing at the thought that Danny can win this which has really surprised me.

I think he's a live dog and he can pull the upset tonight.

What are your last minute thoughts? Agree or Disagree?

i agree that matthysse gets too much hype and is becoming overrated, but I still thinks he beats Danny, everyone bangs on about lucas's power, but I also think his defence is underrated, he slips punches very well and is great at judging distance, theres a reason he has never been knocked down or hurt and its not just his chin.

For me the biggest part of this fight is who lands flush first, and how its dealt with (if at all haha) Danny is more inclined to be hit, he doesnt move much and likes to fight, I think Matthysse lands first and if Danny is hurt, he will fire back but Matthysse will land again and again till he puts him away.

Thats how I see it going, Mattyhsse via mid round stoppage. BUT this is boxing, anything can happen. One thing is for sure there is no way this is going 12 rounds, so im cashing in on that tonight!

Cant wait! great event! may the best man win!

    I have a feeling he won't.

Garcia is a good fighter, but his style is all wrong for Matty who I (and many others) also see as the best LWW out there at the moment.
I like Garcia and have cheered for him in his last couple of fights, but for him to beat Matthysse everything has to fall into place.

Ajose took Matthysse 10 rounds to get out... taking flush shots.... why can't Garcia take those shots and give some back of his own.

One thing I can say, is if Lucas swings his face straight into a Garcia shot... Lucas is going to be out.

This is still a 50/50 fight, with 3 possible outcomes.... Lucas by KO, Garcia by KO or Garcia on points.... Lucas ain't winning **** on points in America.

For me, at the moment, Garcia win by KO is the most likely outcome... but only just.... it's almost as likely as Matthysse coming out fast catching Garcia before he can find his timing anbd putting Garcia to sleep. Another outcome which is possible is of course the fight is stopped due to damage.... on that side of things.... I think it's most likely Lucas wins because he doesn't seem to swell up, bruise or cut.... Garcia on the other hand does.

So even if both chins hold up to the bombs... the cuts and damage will be harder on Garcia.

Great fight and is certainly the more interesting fight on the night

I'm going against the general consensus, and say this will not end in a knockout. Both guys are tough enough to last distance. And I've always said that Matthysse can never win a decision, so I guess I'm going for a Garcia on points.

Lucas can be outboxed. Garcia can box and has power himself if Danny used more movement it would be a no brainer for me. When this fight was first announced I picked Lucas to win I'm changing my pick to Garcia.

Matthysse for me, i just don't rate Garcia highly, I remember when people called Garcia very average and there for the taking before the Khan fight, KO'ing a glass jaw like Khan ( Prescott done it ffs ) and not exactly a great performance vs an over the hill Zab I don't see where the confidence has suddenly came from.

Win/Lose looks like this will be Garcia's last fight @140...
Just Scene an interview w/him discussing tomorrow's fight.

That's how I see it, it will go the 12 rounds and there maybe a split decision too.

Me too. Matthysse hasn't fought a good counter puncher with power. Matthysse's chin is also relatively untested. Sure, Judah may have landed a flush uppercut on Matthysse, but an uppercut on a clenched jaw is less likely to have an affect than a well timed hook on the chin will. If Garcia lands a hook on Matthysse, similar to the one landed on Morales, it's lights out, Lucas.

Don't get me wrong, it's a close fight and could possibly go either way, especially as Matthysse has bombs in both hands, but Garcia also has power and if correctly timed, Matthysse will be getting stopped. I say it's 60/40 in Danny's favour.

Im sorry , but i just dont agree .

This is just Matthysse time .

Garcia is going to lose via stoppage .
