Why are people backing matthysse so much?

This is one of those fights that has alot of imponderables to it...i could make a case for either man winning or losing which is why this is such an anticipated fight.

I think Matthysse has clearly faced the better opposition and adapted to the different styles presented to him so if i had to pick one of these guys it'd be Lucas by 6th rd stoppage.

 

I am telling you its a close fight. It can go either way if your honest. I don't like to call it but I feel that both fighters will look for the power shots and I think Matthysse is the more powerful and devastating punching power. This wont go 12 rounds.

 

Casinos will be your best bet...i've watched plenty of Mayweather and Pac fights in them over the last few years and i'm sure at least one of them near you will be showing the fights tonight.

That way you won't have the hassle of dodgy streams that get cut off half way through a fight.

Because Garcia is nothing special. Mathysse is a level above this guy, and he will show this tonight.

Garcia is gonna get DESTROYED in this fight. He will probably be unconscious within the first 3 rounds.

This is a genuine 50/50 IMO. I'm not that fussed who wins but I hope it ends in KO. I think Matthysse deserves it on balance just for the unjust decisions he got boxing in the US against Alexander and Judah.

Matthysse does absolutely everything better than Garcia, this is a guy who should have a loss to Theophane on his record and struggled with a fat, old Morales, Matthysse is the real undefeated one and he's gonna put a hurting on little Danny, I feel sorry for him

I like Garcia, he's a good fighter but he's nothing special.

He's going to have to box a ridiculously disciplined fight to win this, which I think is beyond him.

Since Matthysse got ripped off against Alexander he's come out with much more purpose in the early rounds, given that Garcia does like to have a look and get his range right he might find himself stopped by then.

I don't see why anyone thinks Matthysse is so special either. He lost legitimately to Judah and his best performance came against Peterson - who's nothing special himself.

This is a really competitive fight - Matthysse's never faced a genuine banger with the skills and poise to hurt him, and Garcia's not had to deal with pressure and power like Lucas brings.

Add in the fact that Garcia has better wins than Lucas and it's bizarre how underrated he is in this fight.
