    In case you overlooked it,

Hughie Fury is fighting today, at 5pm EST.

Granted, his opponent is so bad that he couldn't even GET a cab-driver license, but at least we get to see the very promising Hughie move around the ring for a bit.

    Worth a watch.

This isn't a bad opponent considering Hughie started 6 months ago... McPhilbin on a good day is a decent domestic fighter. It's a good step up.

I wonder if Hughie will look to stop him... he's said that in past fights he's held back a bit so he could get some rounds under his belt.

    Interesting.

He's been in with bums, but one of the things I really like about him is his patience in the ring. He does look very composed, especially for a guy with obvious huge power. This shows intelligence, and the ability to listen to his trainer.

I really like this kid so far.

Yeah he looks promising.. I think the most impressive thing he's done so far was stop Ivica Perkovic(who floored Dimtrenko and made it to the distance with him and Ustinov) If he impresses against McPhilbin which I think he will... I say test him against a tough and proven HW journeyman like Oloukun or Guinn... either that or start putting him against Domestic HW's like McDermott and ***ton, He shouldn't be rushed though.. but in his own words, he does want to try and win a title by the time he's 20 which may not the best move...

I think the best thing for Hughie would be to put him in against high level Journeyman and domestic level guys until he's got a fair amount experience.. I think moving him up when he's 20-21 may be the best course of action.

Hughie's way more balanced and coordinated than his goof cousin, but he isnt a huge puncher by any means.

He is yet to really knock any opponent unconscious. So far he dropped some mma guy a few times, broke some romanian guys ribs, and get a few ref stoppages, but he's never recorded a huge KO

Well, he seems powerful to me. He's huge and he has fast hands. It doesn't always matter what a guy's KO percentage is. (Look a Wach)

I guess we'll have to wait & see.

Hughie isn't even anywhere near his physical prime yet.. He's a HW... those guys mature late, and he's only 18!!!

Doesn't matter if his chin is glass like his cousins.

Wach isn't featherfisted... very uncoordinated and slow but if he can land flush he can knock out a lot of guys. look at his knock outs against Hammer, McBride, and Fields... those are all brutal one punch knockouts that a feather fisted guy couldn't produce.

Hughie is unproven... But he's a good prospect to watch.
