Right hand lead to the body by Matthysse, falling just short, feeling out distance. Garcia squats and turns aside to jab the body. Garcia load up a left hook and spins himself off balance. Matthysse just misses a right hand. Left hook, right hand, left hook by Matthysse backing Garcia up to the ropes. Garcia tried punching through that combo down the middle but got overpowered. Right to the body by Garcia. Both miss jabs and Matthysse moves in with a hard left hook at the head, just missing. Matthysse catches a jab on his left forearm and swings down hard with a right. Matthysse ducks and weaves in. Garcia slaps a hook across Matthysse's gloves. Jabs traded as Matthysse steps in. Matthysse sidesteps, cutting off Garcia's circling pattern. Left hooks traded at the bell.
