Oh you're reffering to Cleverly who has only fought one champion himself who TKO'd him in 4 rounds. Also Chilemba clearly beat Bellew in the first fight I din't see the second but a lot of people felt he won that too.

no bellew won the second fight easily but chilemba one the first easily, but the third fight is just not marketable.

neither bellew nor clev are world class

As far as boxing brains go I agree, very talented and natural fighter

Unfortunately he doesnt seem too ambitious, already said he'd never set foot on a plane so I guess he's just comfortable doing his thing on the domestic scene

The winner of Theophane-Cano would be a good opponent for him

One fight at a time, a couple of weeks ago people were saying Ricky was P4P No.2 in Britain, and look at how quickly people turned on him after two lacklustre performances. Most will probably do the same to Frankie.

Heard a great deal about him, seven-eight years ago, and a lot of praise for the guy and then all of a sudden it all went quiet. People still speak highly of him; spared a couple of highly rated MMA lads that I know and they think he’s got the ability to make it all the way. I think he’ll find it hard to make it to the top, especially with 147 becoming the most stacked division. However, I’m glad he’s with ****** as the guy seems to be matching his fighters well at the moment, and it shouldn’t be long before we see Gavin fighting some big names in the division. Gavin can be a massive draw in Birmingham. I really hope Frank pulls out all the stops to promote him well in Birmingham and bring his big fights here. Will be great, definitely will cheer the lad on.

I genuinely believe he is the most talented boxer in the UK in terms of a boxing brain we have had in a while. It's unteachable. Some boxers don't think too much and leave the thinking to their trainer and do what they are told and train hard drilling themselves. Then they get in the ring and try do it. People with boxing minds like Gavin can get in the ring without even knowing the opponent and within a few rounds they've got you sussed.

People sometimes say he's progressed too slowly and the rest but I personally think the entire thing was development, if he hadn't of gone through what he did he wouldn't be in the state he currently is. I think if he can keep fighting regularly the next 18 months we'll see him explode in profile and in a few years we'll all be saying 'Remember when Frankie Gavin used to post on ESB', like they do about Haye

I do think he should stop posting on here though. There are too many on here who don't have an interest in boxers either way but they want to wind them and give them grief for their own entertainment or something

hes got the skills but lacks power also needs to keep his head screwed on aka kevin mitchell whos in the last chance saloon.
young lads nowadays enjoy making the money and blowing it but if they realised they could make 10x more if they dedicated and then blow it!!!!!!
i know what id rather do but to be fair to kev i think he knows that now,im sure hel face vasquez when he wins his next couple of fights and hopefully with home support will finally win the big one

I think the state of Vassells jaw is an indication that he does have power

A Jaw is a jaw, if he can do that to Vassell he has the power to do it anyone and certainly isn't lightfisted like some people say
