props to Danny Garcia, he's a true champion !

The more I see of him the more impressed I am.

 

It was a razor close fight not domination by Danny like some wanna bealive

 

Much respect to Danny he Impressed me but let's see if he's up for a rematch since it was so close

 

Definitely a true champion with serious heart and will. Hopefully he will get the respect he deserves and won't be completely overlooked again.

 

Indeed it was, I had it for Danny by one point. Can't argue with a draw or scores for Matthysse.

 

yeah. was kinda backed into a corner of having to take on a murderous puncher, but he took the fight and showed how good he is. doesnt seem to do anything exceptional, but always manages to get the job done, and does so with that ******* of a father yellin **** between rounds

 

The way people on youtube are talking you would think Garcia dominated him unreal man ..

 

It was a close fight. I'd like to see a rematch.
I think the eye closing played a big factor. I noticed a momentum shift and a confidence boost to Danny when he saw it. Not taking anything away from Danny's win and he proved that he's a champion with an elite chin.

 

Garcia really showed me something. I thought he'd get stopped but he was able to let his hands go and throw combinations while Lucas was always looking for one shot.

I've probably been guilty of underrating Garcia but he proved me, and a lot of others, wrong. Respect.

His dad's still a dick though.

 

The eye being completely closed the second half certainly didn't help matthysse that's for sure we need a rematch
