Danny 'Swift' Garcia - Underrated. *spoiler*

Dont mean to brag, but i told you so!
I remember along with creating a thread 'why are people backing matthysse so much", i also created a prediction threads for all the upcoming fights and out of everyone who posted, i was the only one to say garcia.

I've always rated the guy but it seems alot of people dont and mainly because of hes dad. Who yes is a ****, but my word what a trainer he is.

I said Garcia would out box matthysse and do what he had to do to win..
Matthysse is a great power puncher, nothing more. Garcia has solidified hes rights of being the best light welterweight fighter in the world.
Maybe he should try and get a world title in welterweight.
Face winner of PACMAN - Rios or something.

Garcia impressed me last night! Proved himself to be #1 at 140, can see him moving up to 147, he's cleaned 140 out basically

 

Obviously hating on Garcia lol. It aint rocket science.
Saying garcia "won every round ugly" when he was clearly the better fighter and also landed great combinations?
If Garcia was to have clinched the whole match without showing any class then i would agree with that article, but the fact is he produced a MASTERCLASS gameplan that may have needed a few tricks to slay the dragon.. Big deal.

I want him in the ring against Alexander in December. Winnable fight for sure, gets him a belt at 147 and sets up the Mayweather fight even more

 

Garcia was fantastic last night, boxed to a superb game plan against a dangerous HEAVY handed fighter.

I thought Garcia got away with a lot of holding in the fight,every time Matthysse would press the action Danny would tie him up and hold his arms until the ref stepped in.He should have been docked more than one point for all the low blows as well.The shot that busted up the eye was a good one though and I think that was the game changer in the fight.The tactics were obviously spot on and for all the bull**** Angel Garcia talks I think there is a method behind the madness.I think rather than calling Danny Garcia an underrated fighter we should be saying Angel is an underrated trainer.

 

Garcia was a massive underdog for this, mattheyse whilst not a full blown hype job was portrayed as some sort of unbeatable machine, well done Danny, you dads still a bell end though
