It was a good fight, but overall Garcia did the better boxing and took the power well.
Garcia is #1 at 140 and #1 on my list to fight Floyd.

Props to Garcia. He got the job done again. But things were getting really interesting when Matthysse was warming up just before that injury to the eye. That played a huge factor.

People keep saying the eye was the factor. But who caused the eye to swell? That's like saying Pac-JMM 4 would have been different if not for the KO.

Make no mistake that Lucas respected Garcias power...I didn't see he's usual aggressiveness. As I said before, Garcias young, has good power and makes a lot if mistake but with each fight I see him progressing into a more mature boxer...great match!

People forget how young danny is, he's only 24 and still learning, but he learns and adapts so quickly.

The gameplan he executed was great. He outsmarted and outclassed lucas and at times made him look ordinary.

There was no way danny was losing to lucas.

I got hell on here for telling people that it was going to be a straight forward win for garcia.

Lucas is a good fighter but is one dimensional and relies soley on power.

Garcia has ring smarts, deadly power in both hands and a solid chin.

If zab and devon could take lucas to the judges cards and outclass lucas then there was absolutely no reason garcia couldn't.

Nice easy money in the bank, only dummies and casuals saw anything other than a garcia win.
